Your pov

England's is your big brother and France is your boyfriend, not that they knew about each other. You didn't say anything about one to the other because you were afraid that, if you did, they'd fight more. You hated to hide anything from England because you two had always been so close. You also hated to hide things from France because he was so open with you. As far as they knew, there was no secrets between you. You figured you would have to tell them at some point, so you made a plan to offer a dinner. It would kill to birds with one stone, at least.

"Hey, Artie?" You said, nudging his arm a little. He glanced at you, looking away from his book.

"Yes, (Y/N)?" He asked, smiling.

"I was wondering if you would like to meet my boyfriend. I want to have him over to meet you since we've been together you almost a year," You said, giving him a hopeful look. He laughed lightly, nodding.

"Of course. I was beginning to wonder if he actually existed since you've avoided introducing us for so long," He teased. You punched him in the arm, playfully.

"Great. Please keep in mind that I love him very much and he treats me very well. Play nice," You said.

"Yes, of course, sister dear," He said, looking back at his book. You took a deep breath and went upstairs to call Francis. The phone rang two or three times before he answered. He sounded just as happy as he always did when he talked to you. You smiled immediately.

"Bonjour mon amour(1)!" He said, enthusiastically.

"Hey, Francis," You giggled. Even over the phone he made you blush.

"Well, my brother agreed to have dinner!" You chirped.

"Wonderful, mon amour!" He cheered. He has been pretty much begging to meet your brother since you told him how close you were. He was so genuinely excited to meet him and it was kinda cute.

"I'll have dinner ready around six thirty. Please keep in mind that my brother means so much to me and be nice," You said, biting your lip a little. He laughed a little. You could almost see him flipping his beautiful blond hair.

"I understand, (Y/N). I promise that I will be on my best behavior," He said, a smile bleeding into his voice.

"I should go get things together so, I'll see you later. You have the address, right?" You asked.

"I have the address. Don't worry, mon cheri(2), everything will go perfectly," He said, lovingly. You breathed a laugh. You say that now, you thought.

"I'm sure it will. I love you," You said.

"I love you too," He said as he hung up. You took a deep breath, rubbing your hands together. Nerves were high as you paced the length of your room for a few minutes. They both promised that they'd be good. Then again, they didn't know they were going to dinner with their worst enemy and that could really only go so well. No, they promised they'd be nice and they wouldn't break their promises. Sighing, you bustled into the kitchen.

You took out all of the ingredients to make their favorite foods. You were going to make beef wellington for dinner because Arthur loved it and French apple tarts for Francis. You tied your (H/C) hair into a ponytail and threw an apron around your waist. It was going to be hell to make all of this, but you wanted them to be as happy as possible. Unlike your brother, you were a wonderful cook. It was relaxing to create dishes that people enjoyed and, right now, you really needed to relax.
