Chapter Ten

Saturday finally comes along and I finish the final design of the shirt we were working on on Wednesday.

At exactly 1 pm I pull up to Dan and Phils flat. I promised myself to not make it awkward or be flirty.

And Dan apparently planned to do the exact same thing. He seems very focused and the whole atmosphere is really down.
At least we will get a lot of work done.

"I'll order some pizza okay?", Phil says and both me and Dan nodded in agreement.

When Phil leaves the lounge to call the pizza place, the atmosphere goes from down to awkward. I'm just staring at the wall and tap my fingers on the desk.
"Y/N, I know we're both thinking the same thing. What happened the other day was... weird?", Dan says, giving me a weak smile. "We just got a bit to typsy that's all, right?", he continues.
"Oh yes, totally. Let's just forget that happened and focus on the work?", I reply.

Before he can say anything, Phil comes back. "Food's ordered!"

All we ended up doing that evening is munching on pizza and working on new items. We've now got a total of five new items of merchandise, one of them is completely done designing. I write down the different colours and best materials for the shirts and hand Phil the piece of paper. "Here you go, that's for shirt number one. I'll do the same for the rest and put the finishing touches on the designs and I can just send them to you?"
"Yes sure, thank you so much Y/N, you've been a great help!", Phil replies.
I grab my bag with the designs and my phone and start heading out.
"Hey, hey, hey, Y/N, where are you going?", Dan stops me before I open the door. "Home?", I answer. "Y/N, it's at night, in London, I'm not letting you go alone.", he says and grabbed his jacket. "Phil? I'm bringing Y/N back, brb."

"Well thanks, Dan.", I say, stepping up the stairs to my front door.
"No problem. Guess, I'll see you soon?"
"Yes. Definitely.", I say and give Dan an awkward hug.
He waves and walks off, putting his hands in the pockets of his jacket.
