Chapter Twenty-Four

DAN'S P.O.V:

I call Alfie right away: "Yo Alfie, hey, you have to take down your vlog.", I say right away
"Gosh. Literally why is it such a big deal?"
"You can clearly see me and Y/N in the back?"
"And why is that that bad?"
"Because we are hugging and being all lovey and they don't know who she is."
"They won't even notice."
"If we did, they'll 100 % notice."
"Okay, fine, I'll take it down."

All that discussion only leads to it being too late. Everyone tweeted me like crazy. There are so many videos and pictures flooding my timeline.

I hear a knock on my door and Phil comes in.
"Did you call Alfie?", he asks.
"Yes, he took it down but it's definitely too late."
"I noticed that. Everyone's tweeting Alfie and I."
"Shit."
"Yeah, what are you planning to do?"
"I don't know, I was meant to do a liveshow but I'll cancel that."
"No, I mean Y/N wise, you gonna apologise?"
"What for?", I say.
"Dan you literally gave that girl hope and then just blew her off?"
I sigh: "I do like her, a lot. And I acted like that because she means a lot to me.
But I just can't be in a relationship."
"I get it, but you have to talk to her. Plus you can't just run away from love only because our viewers won't accept it."
"I guess you're right, give me time though."
He stands up to leave: "Don't let her go, she makes you happy you know that."

She did. She does. I feel good with her. But how can I fall in love with someone when I can't love myself.
She's a perfect girl, every guy would want her. Why should I let her stick with me when there are crazy good looking guys out there. I don't deserve her.
She deserves the most amazing man ever. Not me.

I took a nap and wake up sad. I can't handle this.
My life is a dilemma. I made the person that means most to me, hate me.
I don't want her to love me and I don't want to love her. But I also incredibly do. I should've told Zoe the truth about my feelings.

I log onto twitter because I got a shit ton of tweets.
The hashtag #weloveyoudan, is trending.
Smiling, I type a quick tweet.
"#weloveyouguys, thank you, i love you"

Seeing all the lovely comments gives me courage to text Y/N.
Dan: Can we talk? I miss you.
*message failed to send*

I try to send it again.
*message failed to send*

She blocked me.
