Birds chirping, the sound of quiet snorring next to me and a peaceful warmth in the room, are what I woke up to the next morning.

Letting out a relieving sigh, I turn to the person that is hugging me, thinking it is Dan and open my eyes, just to see Joe Sugg infront of me.

I jump when I see the unexpected face next to me, making him groan in his sleep and turn to his other side to now cuddle up to PJ.

My eyes drift from him to the rest of the couch, everyone on it resting peacefully, before they drift to the space on my left.

Dan is looking at me with a mix of expressions.

Half of it looks disappointed, the other shocked.

I tilt my head and look at him questionably.

He sighs, gets up from the couch, trying not to wake anyone else up and goes outside into Louise's still decorated garden.

I untangle my dress and I from the pool of paper cups and clothes on the couch and follow him outside.

Closing the door behind me quietly, the cold January air hits me, making me shiver.

"You okay? How's the hangover?", I ask and go to hug him to get some warmth from him.

Stepping back, he answers, his voice colder than my body: "Are you okay?"

"Yes?"

"Clearly not though."

Sigh: "What's wrong now, Dan. What is it this time?"

"Oh, so you don't know what happened last night?"

"No?"

"How much did Joe and you hang out?"

"Oh my god. Dan, I was sleeping. How am I supposed to know who I am hugging while-"

"I don't mean that. I'm just wondering how close you guys got again, knowing what happenes when both of you drink together. Deja vu much?"

I laugh now: "You are the one asking me what happens if Joe and I drink together? Ha! Why not ask yourself that?"

"What are you on about?"

"Joe and you were so fucking drunk. Both just taking a shot after another, together. I was with Zoe the whole time because someone was to busy being the best friend of someone he 'doesn't like as much'."

"Wait. Really? He told me that he wanted you to join us when drinking and I thought you did because the only thing I remember was drinking with him and him offering you something. I just figured you guys got wasted together since I don't remember being with him or you."

"Obviously. You were drunk."

"Shit. Y/N, I'm so sorry I-"

"You know what? It's fine. Yea, it's okay. Just maybe think the next time you speak.", I say and go back inside.

Whispering, Dan tries to convince me to come back, but I ignore him.

Now, we sit in the room quietly, each one on the other end of the couch so we won't wake anyone up.

Minutes later, I get a text.

Dan: I really am sorry. I just don't remember anything and suspected that because of what happened the last time you were drunk together. I am sorry I left you alone on the day I wanted to least.

I text back right away.

Y/N: Why would you even suspect anything like that. You know we didn't even do anything last time.

Dan: I don't know, I'm just worried about you. I'm sorry.

Y/N: Why would you worry about me? I am not a child anymore.

Dan: Bc I care.

Y/N: But you didn't care enough to stay sober like you told me you would?

Dan: He pressured me.

Y/N: Poor you.

Dan: I am sorry.

Y/N: I get that. Just think the next time you accuse me of something.

Dan: Can you please come and kiss me now?

I sigh, put down my phone and walk to the other side of the couch to sit down besides him.

"I'm sorry.", he whispers and pecks me.

"Did you really think me and-", I nod towards Joe, "did something?"

"Not really because I know you wouldn't but that's what my jealous mind put together."

"I figured. But why did you get so drunk? You said you wanted to stay sober."

"He just offered me a drink and I drank it to be kind and he gave me more and more and I know it's not his fault but you know how he can be. Plus we actually had a quite... interesting conversation when he was already drunk."

"What did he say?", I wonder, still whispering.

Dan doesn't reply vocaly, but takes out his phone, leaving me with a questioned look.

A few seconds later, he nods towards my phone, that is now buzzing.

I go to grab it and see a new message.

Dan: I'll tell you later, ok? Not sure it's the best to talk about it when he might hear...
