A few days later, I receive a text from Joe: Boarding in ten minutes, going to miss you x

I smile and reply instantly.
Y/N: Going to miss you too, have a safe flight and text me when you land! x

Besides the fact that I lost my job, these couple of days have been great.

Joe talked to both Dan and Alfie, resulting in them all being on okay and even good terms.
He still doesn't forgive Alfie for what he did to Zoe but I definitely don't blame him for that.

Dan has been treating me like an actual princess. He made me breakfast every day and cuddled me every night, making me feel really special and comforting me. We talked about ways I could improve my career, even having an own clothing line in mind.

On the bad side, I still haven't found a job.
I looked everywhere online but there is either nothing art or design related or the payment is way too low to pay for a house in London, so the search continues.

Just as I am about to put away my phone, a new message appears:

Louise: I have to talk to you, call me.

DAN'S P.O.V:

"Are you serious?", Phil burst out when I tell him the news, "that's insane."

"I know, they just shut down the shop.
Now she doesn't have a job."

"But she's so talented, she has to do something grand!"

"That's what I'm trying to tell her but she just want to stay in the small lane."

Phil sighs: "I'm sure she'll find something good."

He takes a sip out of his coffee before continuing: "Did you guys ever talk about marriage?"

"What? That's so random, Phil.", I reply, shocked at the sudden change of subject.

"I know, but I feel like she's perfect for you. No one makes you feel this good plus she's super awesome."

"I guess you're right. But we are still so young, it's too early to even think about marriage at this point."

"But you told me tha-"

"Yes, I told you I want to marry her. But time Phil, time. "

He sighs and leans back in his chair: "You're right."

I take a bite of my food, thinking about what he just said.

I know I want to marry that girl, everything about her is just perfect. I love every single thing about her.
But it's too early and a marriage is a big commitment, I'm not sure I'm ready for.

All I know is that I want to take that big step with her and only her.

I already know how I'm going to propose, but that'll have to wait a while.

I want our relationship to grow before I even properly think about marriage.
We have to get our lives together before we can spent the rest of ours with each other.

Drained in my thoughts, I don't even notice my phone going off.

"Dan? Check your messages, goodness.", Phil moans, trying to edit besides me.

I grab my phone and see a few Twitter notifications and a text from Y/N.

Y/N: I know who told the press.
