Chapter Fourty-Eight

We went from sitting in grey England to sunny Switzerland in a week.

We have been here for three days, with four more left. After that, we wi head straight to Iceland and spend two more weeks there.
"Can we move here?", Dan asks while we were having breakfast in our garden.
"I wish. It's beautiful here."
"I know", he pouts, "and your whole family is so lovely."
I smile and take another bite out of my croissant.
"What are we doing today?", Dan wonders.
"My parents have to work so we can literally do whatever."
He smirks.
"Daniel James Howell, get your head out of the gutter.", I tell him off.

Most of the day was spent outside.
I was reading a book and Dan sat on his laptop, editing a new gaming video.
"It's our 3 month anniversary soon.", he randomly says.
"And? We never do anything special for our anniversaries."
"We are this time, we'll be in Iceland!"
"Ah right! I can't wait to see Reykjavik."
"Me neither, but um- also, everyone knows we're together anyways, so do you think we should like- announce it?"
"How? And we've only been together for a few months."
"True, but I feel like I'd rather tell everyone now than some still being confused and still shipping me with Phil or any other girl I ever get seen with."
"I guees you're right but how do you want to do it?"
"Maybe say it on YouNow tonight and then do a video together. But not the girlfriend tag, just call you my girlfriend and put it in the title so they get it."
"Oh, wow. You seem to have this all planned out."
He chuckles: "I have had for weeks."

So we did exactly what Dan suggested later that day.

"Lily asked if we are together", Dan says and looks at me.
I am doing the live stream with him just because everyone wants me to.
'Heart eyes Howell', the comments say.
He laughs and looks back at the screen. "Yes, Y/N and I are together. Surprise, surprise.", he says and grabs my hand.
The chat practically explodes with people being super happy for us.
"Aw, look at all the comments", I say and point at the screen.
"Ok guys you're a bit exited", Dan laughs.

I feel happier than ever when the stream ends. Everyone was nice, loving and my timeline was full of people who wrote lovely stuff.

Dan and I celebrated by ordering pizza, like always.

Everything is going great tonight but obviously something had to ruin that.
A call from Zoe. Again.
