I smiles. "Yes that was good."
"How do you feel, anyways.", I ask him while I walk into the kitchen to get some coke. "Better, definitely, and I'm sorry I got a bit drunk." "Don't be...", I hand him his coke, "it's all good."
He takes a sip before he replies: "I hate it though, I hate getting drunk in front of people I like- um I mean like 'friendship-like'- um because I feel like I can't protect them?" "Aw, Dan, you're adorable, but it really is fine, love", I squeeze his hand.

DAN'S P.O.V:

*bing*, my phone rings.

"Oh, a message from Phil."
Phil: Where r u?
Dan: at Y/N's, didn't I tell you?
Phil: no? I've literally just noticed
Dan: lol
Phil: how long are you staying?
Dan: I'll be back tomorrow noon.
Phil: Did you kiss her?
Dan: What? What kind of question is that? No I didn't? And wouldn't?
Phil: Suuure, k see you tomorrow.

"What did he say?", she asks.
"Oh nothing."
"Um? Okay, Victoria's Secret?"
"He was being stupid."
"Just tell me mate?"

Annoyed, I hand her my phone.

"What.", she says as she reads the messages.
"I know, that's what I thought, he's a bit cray."
"No I don't mean that, silly."

What. Does. She. Mean.

"What?", it's now my turn to say that.
"You said you'd never kiss me?"

I look at her in pure shock. Is she hitting on me? Does she like me? Is this my chance? Do I kiss her? Now, or do I make it special?

"Just kidding you flop, don't look like you witnessed your guinea pigs brutal death", she says without flinching.
