"Do you want some pizza?", Phil asks when I walk past the kitchen.

"Yes sure, thanks. Ehr- Phil? Do you know where Dan is?"

He looks up from the oven: "Um, n-no. He just left without saying anything."

"That's weird, he's not even answering my texts, which he normally does right away."

"Hm yea, that is weird."

I sigh and sit down: "You sure you don't know where he is?"

"Yes.", he says, acting like he is busy with the food.

Looking at my phone, I still see no message from Dan so I just put it back in my pocket and continue working until Phil takes the pizza out of the oven and we both go to the couch to eat it while watching TV.

Twenty minutes into the show, the front door opens and another minute later, Dan stands at the lounge door: "Hey, what are you watching?"

"Some weird survival show, it's pretty gross.", Phil answers.

Dan gives him a quick nod and disappears into the bedroom.

"Is he okay?", I wonder.

"Why wouldn't he be?"

"Because he didn't even acknowledge my existence?", I say while getting up to follow Dan into the room he is already in.

I open the door and see him changing out of his shirt: "Hey."

"Wha- oh my god. Why didn't you knock?", he says flustered and covers his naked upper half.

I laugh: "Because I live here? In this room with you? And why are you covering up, gorgeous? It's not like I've never seen you naked before."

"I know, I just, um, it was a reflex."

"If you say so.", I answer and sit down on the bed, "Anyway, where were you all day?"

"Why are you asking?"

"Just because I wondered why you just left and didn't answer my text."

He sits down besides me and sighs: "You're not my mom."

"Oh wow. If you have something to hide, you're making it damn obvious."

"What? Do you not trust me a bit?", he now says.

"Obviously I do, I wouldn't be sitting here if I didn't. And I never said I suspected you to do anyth-"

"Ok. Ok I get you. Can you stop? I don't want to spend the last days like this."

I wasn't mad before, but that makes me slightly annoyed: "You can't just argue like that every time we discuss something. That makes it seem like you use it as an excuse."

"I am not. There just isn't anything to argue over and I really want to enjoy these last few days with you, babe."

"Let's make a deal: You just stop being weird and I'll stop being a bitch."

"How am I the weird one?"

"You won't tell me where you were, won't show me your laptop."

"For fuck's sake, honestly. I was just out and about doing boring errands."

I give him a quick glance before getting up and saying "Alright." and going back to the lounge to Phil to finish our show together.

"Oi! At least give me kiss.", Dan says when I reach the door.

I turn around and walk back to the bed, bend down to kiss him but instead of doing so I whisper: "How about... no?"
