Chapter Thirty-Four

Me and Dan decide to just meet at his room and chill for the rest of the night.
Phil is out, visiting some friends, which is quite sad because I hoped to spend more time with him.

"Here you go, ma'lady.", Dan hands me the pizza we ordered.
"Thanks, love.", I say and start munching on it.

"So, Y/N?", he begins.
"Yeah?"
"Um- so I've been meaning to tell you this but, um I think, I like- um..."
"What?", I wonder.
"Well, so, I've been thinking about... stuff. And I'm really sorry if this is a bit weird but I just basically want to know how you feel about me, about us."
"Like what?"
"Like, relationship wise."
"Oh, oh Dan. I think we have a healthy bestfriends-that-are-a-bit-touchy-relationship.", I joke.
"I mean, love wise."
"I do love you, Dan."
"Y/N, you know what I mean."
I sigh: " I don't know, I don't know what I feel. And I don't know if you're the guy I'll marry and I don't know if a relationship is right for us, I really don't. But I like you, a lot and there's definitely sparks between us? That sounds awful, but you know what I mean, I hope. It's just that we promised to stay friends for now because you aren't ready for a relationship and you are too busy. But when are you not going to be busy with YouTube anymore? When you stop making videos? That's at least another 5 years from now. And I don't know if I want to... wait, I guess?"
He looks me in the eyes and says:"I don't know either. I'm not ready for that commitment, but I like you a huge lot. And you mean a lot to me and you don't even know how much I want to kiss you right now, but I can't, because that would be awful to do."
"You mean a lot to me too, Dan."
He takes my face into his hands and gives me a kiss on the forehead.
