Chapter Fourty-Three

"You can't do that!", I scream while Dan is laughing his head off besides me.
As you may have guessed, we are playing an INTENSE match of Mario Kart.

Dan brought my family to the airport early this morning and we went back to his and Phil's flat to play some video games.

"Boom", he shouts and drops the controller onto the sofa, "I won again."
I pout and cross my arms but can't hold the serious face for very long since Dan begins to tickle me shortly after.
A few laughs and tickles later, Phil walks in. "Food's here."

We all go to the lounge to eat together while watching anime.
"Oh by the way, I'm doing a liveshow later, just a heads up.", Phil says, munching away his food.
"K.", Dan comments, too focused on the tv.

Later that day, Phil starts his broadcast in the lounge while Dan and I are in his room, enjoying our time together, if you know what I mean, when we suddenly hear Phil shouting from downstairs: "Y/N! Dan!"
Dan and I look at each other shocked, quickly freshen up and head to the livingroom.
"There they finally are! They asked about you guys.", Phil says.
"Um-", Dan looks at me.
He knows I'm not comfortable being on camera a lot but I just smile and nod. I have to get used to it eventually, plus everyone has been nice recently.
So we sit on both sides next to Phil and wave to the webcam. "Hey guys!", Dan says.
The comments instantly get flooded with our ship name and people calling us cute.
"They want to know what you have been doing.", Phil continues.
"Um- we've been playing Matio Kart.", Dan replies.
Now the comments are flooded with people not believing us. They think we did 'da nasty'. "Ok, everyone calm down, we really just played the game.", Dan says and looks at me lovingly.
'Heart eyes Howell' the top comment says.
"Alright, alright I'm letting you go.", Phil laughs, knowing all of the questions about our relationship make us uncomfortable.
We still haven't officially said that we are indeed together, but we are planning on doing that pretty soon.

Back in the room, Dan sighs: "They're all so dirty minded."
"I mean what do you expect really.", I say and giggle before letting myself fall on the bed.
The comments made me think. Dan and I haven't even made it official and the pressure is on. What will it only be like once they know for sure?
All of these thoughts make me unconcentrated, leading to barely hearing what Dan was saying.
"You're not even trying to act like you're listening anymore.", Dan says and comes a bit closer, "are you okay?"
"Yea, sorry, just a bit tired."
"Well it's getting pretty late anyway, want to go to bed?", he asks sweetly.
"Yes, please."
He gets up, puts a blanket over me and turns the light off.
"Good night gorgeous, I'll go to sleep soon, too", he says and gives me a kiss on my neck.
