The sound of a familiar song rips me out of that perfect moment.

Which, to be fair, sounds nice at first but really isn't when you know it's set as your ringtone.

I groan and reach under Dan's jacket that I am wearing and into mine to grab the ringing device: "Hello?"

"Hello darling, how are you? Packed and ready to go?", Fleur answers.

"Um- yes. Kind of?", I say and glance over to Dan who doesn't seem impressed.

"Kind of? You know what we are leaving pretty soon? Did pack the most important things?"

"Yes, yes I did."

"Well I'll send you a checklist so you can make sure. Also make sure to be on time for the flight."

Yawning, I roll my eyes: "Alright, thank you. Bye."

"Okay bye!", she says and I hangs up.

"She always ruins our cute little moments. How dare she.", Dan laughs.

Cuddling up to him, I nod: "Truly unsympathetic."

He chuckles and pecks my head: "Do you want to head home? I'm freezing."

"Really? I'm quite warm.", I tease and pull the jacket tighter.

"Hm, wonder why."

I grin and get up, tugging him with me: "Alright, alright. Let's go home."

That evening, the flat is the exact opposite of the park. Warm, cosy and filled with blankets since Dan and I decided to just cuddle up on bed and enjoy these last few hours together like that.

Sometimes, I will feel myself drift to sleep but Dan quickly gives me a peck to wake me up. He knows exactly it is best for me to sleep through the plane ride so I won't stay up worrying about it.

At this point, Fleur sent me the checklist and, to my surprise, everything on it is already packed.

Since I will have a stylist every day, I only have to bring essential and comfy clothing aka Dan's clothes that I stole, making my suitcase a lot lighter. Also, Richard organised a laptop for me that I can use there so I won't have to bring mine.

"What are you thinking about?", Dan asks me when he notices me zoning out.

"Nothing, just the trip itself."

He pouts and pulls me closer to him: "I know I've said this so many times but I can't believe you won't be next to me, sleeping in my bed or kissing me for a month. I don't know how I'll cope."

I sigh: "Me neither. I already miss you and I'm not even at the airport. Speaking of, what time is it?"

"Um- midnight now.", he answers.

"Three more hours."

"Yea.", he pauses, "Remember when we went to America?"

I laugh: "Of course."

"I had the best time in my life there, I think. Not only the tour but you made it very special and I am so glad I met you. So so glad."

"Look at you being all cute.", I joke and kiss him, "I love you."

The next few hours go by way too fast. Maybe it's because of what we did, maybe the cock, I mean clock, decided to be extra impatient that day.

And all of a sudden it is 3 am and I am standing at the door with some joggers, Dan's sweater and warm winter gear on with luggage in one hand and my phone in the other.

"Ok. You have everything?", Phil asks and yawns while he hands Dan my suitcase.

"I hope so.", I say, rocking from one leg to the other.

Sensing my nervousness, he smiles and hugs me tightly: "You'll be fine. Trust me. Plus you can always come home, you know that."

"Thank you Phil. I will miss you."

"I'll miss you too.", he sighs and waves when we get closer to the door.

"Bye!", I now wave back and go out of the door and into the hallway, Dan struggling to follow with my luggage.

He closes the door with his foot, dimming one last 'Miss you already, bye.' from Phil and takes my hand with his free one.

We walk outside to the waiting taxi, load in my stuff and drive to the airport after we tell the driver the destination.

During the ride, Dan won't let go of my hand, keeps stroking it and kissing me, trying to calm me down a bit which sadly don't make the drive longer because we arrive at our destination not long after.

We thank the man and are ready to enter, when he opens his window again: "Ehrm, excuse me?"

"Yes?", I turn around.

"Are you Y/N? My daughter is a huge fan. Could you please sign this?", he says, holding a piece of paper.

My smile grow as I walk back to him: "Of course! Tell her I said thank you and hope to meet her soon."

I sign the paper, thank him again and walk back to the entrance Dan is waiting at with a huge grin on his face: "That's so cool. I'm so proud of you, gorgeous."

Thanking him with a kiss, he takes my hand into his once more and we walk into the airport hand in hand.
