Chapter Twenty-Six

"Who is it?", I hear Joe say from the lounge.

"It's Dan."

"Oh good god. Do you want me to take care of it?"

"Please."

Him and I swap places and he opens the door.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't me- Joe? What are you doing here?", I hear Dan say.
"Being a good friend, what about you?"
"Um- where's she?", he tries stepping in but Joe stops him.
"Mate, she does not want to talk to you now."
"How do you know?", Dan asks.
"She told me, now leave", Joe replies and closes the door on him.

DAN'S P.O.V:

I can't believe it. She already found a new guy.
I am honestly heartbroken.
I realised how much she means to me when I lost her. Cool Dan.

I arrive at home to Phil waiting anxiously: "How did it go?"

I just shake my head and go into my room.
