Chapter Thirty-Five

A few days pass and we are now in Phoenix.
These couple of days, I spent a lot more time with Phil. We went to the cinema, shopping and to the park together.

It is lovely to finally catch up with him and talk about everything and anything.

Today is also the day where the video I did with Dan and Phil will come out.
We gather in Dan's room to see everyone's comments.
The top comment is very lovely: "She's getting hate for no reason. Real fans would accept her and welcome her. She's been in their life for a long time and did you notice a change in Dan and Phil's relationship? No, exactly. She clearly makes both of them, especially Dan very happy so why would that be a bad thing? C'mon, stop being little children."

"I agree with that", Dan says and begins to read a second comment: "'Wow, how did Dan get a hot girl to be in his vid lmao.', I wonder that too", he says and laughs.
"Looks like they liked it!", Phil says while scrolling through the comments, "but a lot of people think you're dating and are confused because of that last question. Might want to clear that up.", he continues.
"I hate how I have to explain myself every single time we mention her.", he says while typing out a tweet: "isn't the title clear enough? bestfriend not girlfriend."

"Oh that's sassy.", I laugh.

The tour is half way over and I've been really enjoying it. It definitely had its hard moments but, thankfully I have Dan and Phil by my side.

"What do you guys want to do on the last day of the tour?", Phil asks us, "party?", he suggests.
Dan and I look at each other and pull a disgusted face. We both aren't party animals.
"Okay that's a no, maybe just go out to dinner with the crew and enjoy the last evening in peace?"
"Yes that's way better", Dan says and I nod.

"What are your plans for when you're back in the uk?", I ask them.
"Well, the merch is coming out!", Phil reminds me.
"Ah, yes! I'm literally going to wear it everyday to Uni."
"God, no. Has anyone ever come up to you because of us?", Dan asks me.
"No, but now that I've been in your video, maybe. I hope not tho."
"Me neither, I don't want anyone to be weird to you", Phil says.
"Yea, let's hope nothing changes for me."

"When do you end Uni anyways?"
"It's my last year, then I'll have a bachelor degree in design and art.", I say proudly.
"Oh that's so good!", Phil says, "what are you planning on doing afterwards?"
"Um- I haven't thought about that a lot. Probably just keep working in the little art shop."
"You serious?", Dan says, "Y/N, you have mad talent, you have to start your own company or move on to something bigger."
"I don't know..., there are so many good people out there. And a company seems scary. Maybe I could start of with a blog or a website?"
"Yes! We're definitely doing that when we're back!", Dan says in excitement.
