When Dan leaves to catch the delivery man, I think: Did I disappoint him? Did that seem as I didn't like him? I did. And I wouldn't mind kissing him. But I don't know if I, or him, are ready for that. He doesn't really flirt with me anyways. Is he scared of what the fans might thi-

"Pizza for m'lady", I get interrupted by Dan balancing two pizzas onto the coffee table. "You alright? Look a bit worried, Y/N." "Yeah, yeah I'm fine", I get up and open my pizza.

"Oh, I forgot to ask..", Dan says with a mouthful of pizza, "do you want to come around on new years? It's going to be me, Phil, Zoe, Louise, Alfie, Joe and Louise's boyfriend. Pleeeaase?"
"Um- yes sure, why not? At what time?"
"Y/N, you sure you okay? Seem a bit off."
"Yes, sorry, I'm just thinking about- stuff"
"If you say so.. and 9 pm but can you come at 8 please? And you'll sleep over."
"Did you just decide that for me?"
"Yes, I'm not letting you outside on your own, on new years, in London"
"Okay, guess I'll stay over."

By now, it is the 30th of December and I get a text from Zoe and Louise, who I've been talking to since the tabinof party.

Zoe: Guys, what are you wearing tomorrow?
Lou: Oh shit.
Y/N: I completely forgot about that, shopping today?
Zoe: Shopping it is!
Lou: Yaay!

At 1 pm, Louise, Zoe and I meet at Topshop and start the hunt for the perfect party dresses.
"So, anyone you want to look good for, Y/N?", Louise asks, making Zoe giggle. Both of them are strongly convinced that Dan and I are *perfect* for each other.

"Yes", I reply, "myself."
"Awe, come on.", Zoe laughs.

Zoe quickly finds her dress: It was black, had sequins and was tight, had long sleeved and a busy cut out at the back.
Louise picks out a silver tshirt that she'll tuck into a long babypink tull skirt.
But I can't decide. I don't even know why I am so picky. It's not that I can't find ones I like it's just that I don't know which ones perfect.
"Y/N, you look gorgeous in every single one of them!", Louise says, as I try on the approximately 17th dress.
"Come on out mate", Zoe said.

I walk out and see their expressions from normal to fLIPPING EXITED.

"That's the one!", Zoe shouts while Louise makes gestures for me to twirl.

I look in the mirror, and am actually happy about the pick: I was wearing a quiet short dress with a low cut out in front. But the black sparkly tull skirt and and black top made it look cute and festive.

We leave the shop with handfull's of bags filled with dresses, shoes and accessories. And maaaybe some sneaky home wear.
