•Happy Chanukkah!

•also sorry if i'm writing Chanukkah wrong

•so Alex hasn't celebrated a winter holiday in forever

•and when he moved up to new york for college he meets John

•It becomes their last day of class and John sees how Alex isn't really rushing out while everyone else is

•"Hey? Arent you gonna go celebrate Christmas or Chanukkah with your family?"

•Alex shrugs

•"Don't have a family, and at don't really celebrate any holiday."

•before John knows what's happening he says "Celebrate Chanukkah with me this year, then."

•"Are you sure?"

•"Of course!"

•so Alex celebrates Chanukkah with John

•and it's awesome

•sometimes John's sister stops over and sometimes it's Lafayette because they're also jewish and sometimes Laf brings Hercules and sometimes it's just Alex and John

•Alex is usually really depressed around this time but he finds himself laughing and happy more than ever

•and after the last dinner John walkes Alex to the door of his apartment

•and they're standing there saying their goodbyes when Alex says

•"Can I-can I do something right now?"

•"Uh, sure?"

•Alex moves forewords and kisses John

•and Alex's plans to leave cancel as soon as John pulls him further into the apartment
