•y'all know it's gonna be angst

•Alex and John are in their thirties

•they've been married for a while

•(awhile? a while? idk)

•and Alex is still this big writer

•like

•22 hours a day writing

•but when one day Alex keeps dropping his pen

•so John took him to the doctor's

•and it turns out Alex has Parkinson's

•Alex feels his world go on pause

•and over the months it gets worse

•Alex still doesn't stop writing though

•and John just watches in despair as Alex gets more and more angry every time he messes up typing or writing

•one day Alex is trying to type a letter but he keeps messing up

•he finally gives up and goes to find John

•Alex finds him and whispers

•"John?"

•John looks up and asks

•"Yeah, baby?"

•Alex is crying, hands shaking uncontrollably

•"I'm running out of time."

•John feels tears coming to his own eyes and he pulls Alex into a hug

•Alex loses all ability to write or type with his hands shortly after that

•but John gets this voice activator attachment so now Alex can just talk and his words go into the paper

•and whenever the activator messes up John will change it to what Alex needs it to be
