I saw the Newsies movie again today and oh boy am I blessed to see Andrew Keenan Bolger and Jeremy Jordan and Ben Fankhauser and Kara Lindsay and Ben Cook and EVERYBODY preform

•only thing is

•Alex is super invested in Pride and love and creating good for the community

•while John has no investment in the community at all

•he didn't even know there was a community or other sexualities until he met Alex

•he knew that the word was gay and they had a rainbow flag and that's it

•Alex was like

•"How have you lived you life then?

•"I just lived my life saying,'I like boys and not girls, and that's that.'"

•Alex finds it insane

•the next morning Alex wakes John up by jumping on him

•"Wake the fuck up, Laurens! I'm taking you out!"

•John just groans and pushes Alex off of him

•finally Alex gets John out of the house

•and he leads John down into this small coffee shop

•It smells like cinnamon and its warm and playing some jazz song and the lighting is soft and John immediately falls in love

•and then he sees the giant gay flag hanging behind the counter of the shop

•and John let's out a little gasp

•because he's looking around the store and noticing all the flags and all the same-sex couples who are showing way too much PDA

•John feels a hand being rested on his shoulder and he looks down to see Alex grinning at him

•"Do you wanna go order?"

•John just smiles

•and the two shamelessly walk up to the counter holding hands
