•FUCK YEA

•so i'm gonna do Jack/Crutchie because I already did one like Jack/Katherine so LETS GO

•it's fucking 1899

•and Alex and John are teenagers that sell newspapers for Pulitzer

•Alex has this limp foot from a disease he had as a kid so he uses a crutch all the time

•and John is his best friend who will do anything and everything with Alex

•well Pulitzer decides one day to pull up the prices of the papers

•and John and Alex and all the other boys think that that's crazy

•so they go on strike

•and plan to destroy the newspaper wagons the next day

•later that night Alex and John are laying up on top of the rooftop they live on

•when Alex asks

•"You sure we gonna beat Pulitzer?"

•John grins

•"Positive."

•skip to the next day

•and these boys are destroying this wagon

•as well as fighting off the owners of the wagon and the newspaper shop

•all of the sudden this cop shows up with a man behind him

•one of the boys

•(Lafayette)

•runs up to the cop and says

•"About time! They're slaughterin' us!"

•however

•the cop raises his hand

•and slaps Lafayette

•which causes all hell to break loose

•and it's near the end of the fighting

•when John just hears

•"JOHN! PLEASE! HELP!"

•John whips around

•and there's Alex, being held back by two men

•Alex turns to the one and hits him with his crutch

•but then the other spins Alex and punches him in the jaw so hard he falls to the ground

•suddenly Snyder

•(look up Snyder from Newsies if you don't know)

•appears over Alex

•and beats Alex up with Alex's own crutch

•Alex is screaming in pain and trying not to sob and coughing up blood

•Snyder handcuffs Alex and says

•"Its off to the refuge for you!"

•Alex screams once more

•"JOHN!"

•and John sprints forwards

•but is held back by Hercules

•"ALEX!"

•the next night John goes to see Alex

•but a boy in the refuge tells John that Alex is too beat up to walk to the window

•John's heart just breaks

•so it becomes John's main goal to get Alex back

•a week goes by

•and finally Pulitzer surrenders

•John is celebrating with the other boys

•put he can't help but feel upset because Alex is still stuck with Snyder

•that night he goes up to the rooftop

•and low and behold

•Alex is standing there, crutch under arm and grinning

•"Hey, John."

•John just steps forwards

•cups Alex's face in his hands

•and presses their lips together

•Alex gasps in surprise

•but then drops his hands down to John's waist

•and all is good
