•because he knows he'll fall for him and get in too deep

•Alex quickly figured John out

•and John's all pissy because he refuses to connect

•and Alex is just being cute and all happy trying to talk to John and not giving up

•but then one night Alex accidentally brushes a hand across John's wings and John is g o n e

•just like that John falls

•and they begin a relationship

•there's such a strong bond that sometimes it can be seen in the air by John

•like two strings wrapped tightly around each other with the ends connected to Alex and John

•it hurts John to watch as Alex grows older yet John stays the same

•John is holding Alex when he dies

•and while John is holding Alex and crying

•a younger Alex appears in the doorway, golden wings behind him

•Alex is assigned to be Theodosia Burr's angel

•and John is assigned Philip Hamilton
