// "I ran away from home and knocked on the wrong door but you wanted me to stay anyways so... okay?" //

•oh boye

•John ran away from home

•it was his eighteenth birthday

•and he packed his bag already

•so he walked to the door

•hugged his sister and mom

•and announced

•"I'm gay."

•and before Henry could do anything John was already running down the street

•John catches a few bus rides

•and ends up in Manhattan

•he looks at the address that as given to him

•goes there

•and knocks on the door

•almost instantly this man opens

•(it's Alex)

•John starts panicking

•"Shit! I'm sorry, so sorry! I was given this address to go to as, like, a foster house because I just ran away from home and I have no where to go and im panicking and-"

•Alex cuts John short by resting a hand on the boy's shoulder

•"Hey, it's okay. You can come in, if you want."

•John gives Alex a skeptical look and Alex laughs

•"I'm not a murderer, trust me. I actually started off like you."

•John then goes inside

•and Alex leads him into his living room and goes to make tea

•they spend the rest of the night getting to know each other

•aka telling each other their life stories

•when it becomes night time

•John begins to leave

•but Alex stops him

•"It's just- it's really dark, and you shouldn't be on the streets of New York all alone."

•"So, you want me to stay here?"

•Alex grins and nods

•so Alex makes his couch into a mini bed for John

•and the next night John stays as well

•this goes on for months

•and they become good friends

•Alex helps John get a job

•and he shows John around manhattan

•eventually they begin to date

•and the rest is history
