•John and Alex are so sad

•but they're patient

•one lazy Sunday morning

•Alex is laying across the couch

•petting their dog

•and John moves to sit down next to Alex with his coffee when Alex starts speaking

•"Joseph?"

•John's like "What?"

•"Emily? Javier? Catherine? Oh-Philip!"

•"Alex, what are you talking about?"

•Alex grins

•"Baby names."

•John feels his heart start racing

•"What?"

•Alex tears up

•"Eliza is pregnant."
