•Idk if i've done this before but oh well

•SO

•they're nineteen

•John is in charge of art

•and Alex is an intern to their therapist

•since this camp is a camp specifically for creating a safe space for LGBT kids

•every camper wants them together

•mainly because they always sit so close to each other at meals

•in the mornings Alex is practically sleeping on John until John gives him coffee

•and they just casually flirt with each other

•but both are so oblivious that they don't notice

•it isn't until one day when John takes his shirt off at the lake that Alex notices how big of a crush he has on John

•and all the campers knew

•because they watched Alex stare at John's abs for eight seconds before looking away and whisper-shouting "fuck"

•don't get me started on the pining towards one another during volleyball

•finally one night

•during one of their campfires

•Burr pushes Alex into John

•and John stumbles so far back his back pushes up against a tree

•Alex just grins sheepishly

•"Sorry."

•John doesn't know why

•but he leans down and kisses Alex

•Alex is shocked for a second

•but quickly returns the kiss

•when they pull away the wolf whistles begin

•so John just flips the campers off and pulls Alex in for another

•John is anxiously siting at the counselor table in the cafeteria with Alex's coffee in his hands all nervous to see what Alex will say

•but Alex just stumbled over and gives John a bright smile

•John is close to tears because he's so anxious and Alex just gave him so much relief

•and then Alex curls into John and kisses him on the cheek before he begins sipping his coffee

•the rest of the day everyone walks around saying "I fucking knew it"
