•They go on a three day senior trip to D.C.

•both John and Alex wanted to embarrass the kids

•so they go

•everybody thinks John is lit

•they call him "Lit Laurens"

•much to Frances' horror

•meanwhile Alex is like

•the old man

•but all the emo kids and kids who applied for ivy leagues like him

•all you have to say though is "AYE YO TEACH"

•and both men will turn around and go "WADDUP" and dab

•(they gotta be hip with the trends)

•John especially likes dabbing

•(gee)

•Alex is so interested in the exhibits that Philip has to drag him around

•and when they get to the hotel

•it turns out that John and Alex have to share a hotel room

•AND THERES ONLY A QUEEN BED

•so they settle down

•and when they wake up they're cuddling together

•they're embarrassed ofc

•but that day they get to know more about each other

•so much that when they go to sleep they actually begin cuddling before they fall asleep

•and by the end of the third day they sneak out and go to a dinner together

•(they've been single parents both since the kids were born)

•so when they go back to the hotel

•they end up having sex

•aaand the next day when Alex and John get back with their kids Philip tells Alex
