•yeas

•John is B

•whoop

•and he's preforming for their school talent show

•he's gonna sing the song "She Used to be Mine" from Waitress

•(BC I FUCKING LOVE WAITRESS)

•and Alex is sitting front row in the auditorium

•John also plays guitar while singing

•Alex just hears the emotion John puts into the words

•and it's so strong that Alex starts tearing up

•and when John hits that high note Alex loses it and starts crying into his jacket

•John wins the talent show and Alex jumps to his feet clapping

•afterwards Alex finds John

•"Hey, Alex! Did you like-"

•John gets shut off by Alex running into his arms and hugging him, sill crying

•John instantly gets worried and he asks what's wrong

•Alex just pulls away and kisses him before saying

•"You were beautiful up there."

•John grins and hugs Alex again
