•and meets John

•they become close

•and by close I mean major pining over each other

•Lafayette wants John

•so he sets out to humiliate Alex into giving John up

•fucking spying on him in the bathroom and music room and shit

•embarrassing him in the cafeteria

•however

•that doesn't happen

•Alex gets John to try out for the musical

•and they end up getting the lead roles

•eventually John moves closer to theatre and farther away from basketball

•which sparks controversy

•but John continues with theatre anyways

•and finally

•after so long

•John and Alex kiss

•everyone's cheering

•and they become a couple

•and all is good
