// Coffee shop AU //

•this gets more specific don't worry

•Alex is a very short tempered barista

•and he just so happens to work with Jefferson

•so one lazy Tuesday

•there's only four people in the shop

•a couple on a date in the front window, a teenage girl in a booth texting, and John Laurens sitting at the bar and working

•also they have a mini microwave behind the counter that's used for heating up muffins and such

•so Alex is working on a fixing a little bug in it

•and the whole time Jefferson is just mocking him

•Alex finally snaps

•unplugs the microwave

•and fucking chucks the microwave at him

•Jefferson however dodges it

•and instead it hits John

•Alex runs over to John and apologizes and grabs the microwave away

•John is bleeding

•Alex banishes a cackling Jefferson to the backroom

•and he grabs a towel to help John

•Alex apologizes and John says it's fine

•"I do want to know, though, why did you throw a microwave?"

•Alex puts the microwave back and tells John the story

•and they spend the time until closing talking

•John leaves that night with Alex's number and a grin on his face

•what an interesting way to meet people
