•What happened was

•John loved his mother more than anyone in the world

•but was sadly split up from her when he was ten

•and he looked for years

•but was never able to track her down

•he eventually meets Alex

•and falls head over heels for him

•and he can't count the hours he's spent curled up with Alex telling him everything he knew about his mother

•and each time it'd always end with John giving Alex a bittersweet smile before whispering

•"I just want to see her again."

•well skip to when he's thirty

•and it's his and Alex's wedding day

•they're getting married in this nice church

•and they say their vows

•Alex mentions John's mother near the end of his vows and John starts crying

•and then Alex grins

•"Speaking of your mother..."

•the doors open

•and John's mother walks in

•John turns to Alex

•"You... you invited my MOTHER?"

•Alex grins

•and John takes off to his mother

•he wraps her in his arms while shouting out

•"Mami! Oh, mami, I missed you so much."

•She grins and hugs John back

•"Oh, how much i've missed you, baby boy."

•John turns back to Alex

•and walks back up

•he cups Alex's face in his hands

•and turns to the priest

•"Just say the 'kiss the groom' part please?"

•the priest does

•and John gives Alex the most intense kiss ever

•and John spends the rest of the night catching up with his mother

•and Alex is right by his husbands side the entire time
