To any P!ATD fans going to Broadway to see Brendon in Kinky Boots: Here's a little list of things to do when you're seeing it:
1-Do not scream when Brendon comes out or ends a song like "Soul of a Man". Clap and cheer, but do not scream like you're at a concert.
2-DO NOT FILM LIKE A CONCERT. While I am all for bootlegs, I am not for people sticking their phones straight up in the air to film him singing. You may record bows like a concert, but only bows.
3-BE KIND AT THE STAGE DOOR. DO NOT PUSH. DO NOT SCREAM. DO NOT BLOCK THE FUCKING ROADS. EVERYBODY IS THERE TO SEE THE ACTORS JUST LIKE YOU, AND YOU WILL GET YOUR TURN, SO BE PATIENT.
4-Respect everyone. Broadway is a place for love, and if you barge in there like you're going to a concert, you will be treated differently, especially if you are disrespectful to staff and other cast members.
5-Research the show first. A lot of people go into Kinky Boots picturing Brendon's character a large LGBT support, yet that's quite the opposite. I recommend watching the movie the show was based off of, which is available on Netflix, or listening to the cast album.
6-Have fun. Broadway is meant to be enjoyable, and if you follow rules and be kind, you'll have fun.

Sorry guys I had to rant because I saw this show last year and it was amazing but to see all the new stuff from Brendon pisses me the fuck off so yeah

•he finds John set up with all his equipment

•John turns around and smiles

•"Hi."

•Alex nods towards him

•"Hi, are you an artist?"

•John sheepishly nods

•Alex walks over and looks at John's art

•"Wow... that's beautiful."

•"It's really nothing big."

•"No, I mean it! This may be the most beautiful thing i've ever seen."

•and because John can't control himself

•he announces

•"Well, have you ever looked in the mirror?"

•Alex takes a second

•and then begins blushing like crazy

•"You're not to bad yourself."

•so now these two are blushing from each other

•when Alex makes his way back down he has the number of a cute artist by the name of John Laurens
