•by personal it means only the person with it can see it

•so John and Alex are dating

•both of their clocks have around 50-60 years on it

•they're in their mid twenties by the way

•one day

•John is at work

•so Alex goes on a walk

•and while on this walk

•he accidentally trips

•and hits his head really badly

•he instantly passes out

•and wakes back up in the hospital

•because a passerby saw him fall and called for help

•John is with him all nervous

•but he is instantly filled with relief after Alex wakes up

•in the midst of it John just cries

•"He's alive!"

•Alex laughs and hugs John

•but while they hug Alex notices his watch

•and it says he has one hour left

•Alex feels panic fill him

•and he just squeezes John tight

•the next hour Alex just clings to John

•John doesn't get it

•but when the clock gets to one minute Alex just starts ranting about how much he loves John

•John is a little scared now

•Alex can feel his breath leaving him

•so Alex manages to get out

•"John Laurens, I love you."

•and like that

•Alex dies

•and John just breaks down
