•John and Alex are good friends

•and they're both fighting little battles

•particularly with their sexualities

•because neither are that interested in girls

•but rather boys

•and when they find out that lafayette and hercules are dating they just become more frustrated with themselves

•and then jefferson and madison are seen holding hands

•and Alex almost punches himself in the face because he is so confused

•one day John ends up getting this really good award in something

•and he goes over to Alex's house to celebrate

•Alex pulls him into a hug

•and unconsciously pecks him on the lips

•they both freeze

•John leans in and pecks him back

•and when he pulls away Alex asks

•"Do you... want to be boyfriends?"

•John smiles

•and nods

•Alex just grins

•"Okay, cool."
