•IM DOING A FUCKING MURDER AU FIGHT ME

•So Alex used to have a husband

•and John broke into their house one night to murder them

•he murdered the husband first and Alex tried to bargain with him

•"No! Take me with you! Make me your slave, whatever! Just don't kill me!"

•John spared him because he's hot

•so John took Alex and taught him how to kill

•and one of the first things John teaches him is

•"Aim for the throat. Slash, don't stab. Make it deep."

•and eventually the two gain infamy as a murderous gay couple

•one night these tow go into a house to kill

•John gets the parents' room and Alex gets the kid's

•but when Alex looks down on this sleeping kid he just sees John's face in this kid

•he's so caught up he doesn't hear what's happening to John until he hears John yell "ALEX, RUN!"

•Alex grabs the boy and runs off as fast as he can

•he takes this boy to him and John's house

•and the boy is still sleeping when Alex puts him down

•(REALLY heavy sleeper)

•Alex turns on the news

•and it says how John Laurens is officially dead along with the two parents

•Alex just breaks down

•because his love is gone

•but instantly stops when the little boy comes into the room

•"Hi, what's your name?

•"Philip. Where's momma and pappa?"

•"They, uh, they said they had to go somewhere for a long time, and they left me in charge of you. I'm Alex, and I promise you can trust me."

•"Oh, okay."

•so slowly Alex begins to shape his life normally again

•he dyes and cuts his hair

•and he becomes a normal citizen again

•he never marries or dates again after losing both his first husband and John

•he doesn't want to take the risk of losing another one of his loves

•he also raises Philip

•and one day Philip comes home and asks "How can I protect myself one day?"

•Alex grins

•and for the first time in a decade he says

•"Aim for the throat. Slash, don't stab. Make it deep."
