•Alex and John meet when they're like

•eight

•and they're confused as to why they can only see this brown color in both of their eyes

•Alex asks Martha and she just smiles

•"You'll know one day."

•skip to when they're seventeen

•and Alex

•after pining over John for awhile

•finally asks him out

•John says yes

•so they plan a date for the movies

•and while they're getting popcorn
•John just slips his hand into Alex's

•and the two watch as the colors red, blue, and yellow fade in

•they're soft at first

•but then later that night

•John kisses Alex for the first time

•and the primary colors become bright

•another timeskip

•to their wedding

•they can only still see primary colors and the colors of each other

•(skin, eye, and hair color)

•finally the priest says

•"You may now kiss the groom."

•and John grins before dipping Alex and slamming their lips together

•both their eyes are shut

•but when they pull away and stand up they open their eyes

•and suddenly the room is bursting with color

•Alex just grins even wider and pulls John close

•and the two just take in all the colors around them
