•HOLLLLLD UP

•Alex is A

•he and John are married for a few years

•and they're so happy together

•John knows Alex is the one, that nobody else will ever replace him

•but recently they've been arguing more than normal

•Alex seems to be constantly getting annoyed by John

•causing John to stay out longer so he doesn't annoy Alex because that's just how much he loves him

•Alex also begins to fall asleep on the couch more than in their bed

•and he also begins to get more annoyed at John's little habits like singing while cooking or leaving a hairbrush and hair bands on his nightstand

•there's one night where the two of them are getting ready for bed

•and John leaves the cap off the toothpaste of all things

•thats the final straw for Alex

•because he just starts ranting about how he's so tired and he can't take it anymore and etc

•he starts shoving clothes and shit into a bag

•and John is so confused

•"Alex? Babe, what are you doing? You're scaring me."

•Alex just keeps rambling and packing

•and when Alex begins to move for the door John begins to try and stop him

•he grabs onto Alex's shoulders and pulls him back

•"Baby, babygirl just tell me where you're going! Why are you leaving? Alex!"

•Alex just pushes John off and runs out the door

•and since they live in the city John has to chase Alex down the stairs of their apartment complex

•he chases Alex outside while yelling for him

•"Alex! Please! Just tell me where you're going!"

•Alex darts down a few alleyways and John eventually looses him

•he just slumps down and starts crying in the street

•John goes back to their apartment and tries to find Alex any way that he can

•but Alex left his phone and laptop so John can't track him down

•so he just waits for Alex to come back

•days pass

•and then weeks pass

•and then months pass

•and then years pass

•six years to be exact

•its a Friday night

•and John is watching a movie while eating takeout in his pajamas when he gets a knock at the door

•John gets up and answers it

•and at first he doesn't notice the man in front of him

•but then it hits him

•"... Alex?"

•Alex smiles

•"Hi, John."

•John steps back and invites Alex in

•and when the door closes Alex turns to say something to John

•only for John to slap him in the face

•"You asshole! I begged for you, pleaded for you to just tell me where you were going! And you said nothing! You left me! For six years, Alex! I was devastated! I didn't talk to anybody for months, didn't even go out of my house for weeks! I never saw anyone, never cheated on you, never even took this damn ring off!"

•Alex can feel his heart begin to break

•"John, i'm so-"

•"Sorry doesn't cut it, Alexander."

•Alex meets John's eyes

•and he's so broken

•John just breaks down right there

•straight up crumples to the floor and begins to shake and cry

•Alex moved down to hold John

•and they just sit there, John crying and Alex trying to figure out how is he gonna make this work
