"Window. Now." Whispering through the sheets he let out a laugh, ignoring my comment but the silence that followed made him question my logic. "Jason I'm not kidding, I just heard the front door shut." He sat upright quickly, swearing under his breath.

He quickly pushed the sheets off of us and grabbed his clothes mixed with mine from the floor, discarded and muddled; In a panic he tried to put on my bra causing a muffled laugh from me. "Your room is on the second story." He moaned as he held his head out of the window, the cold breeze coming into the room causing me to pull on the sheets for warmth.

Sitting up I glanced out of the window, "Look it's not that hard. All you've got to do is go out of the window onto the porch roof then onto the car and land on the grass. Easy peasy." His eyes went wide as he repeatedly shook his head.

"It is below freezing outside Y/n, plus it is nearly midnight, won't it look the least bit suspicious." He questioned and I remained quiet, crossing my arms.

Cocking an eyebrow to him I heard footsteps wandering downstairs, "You want to have that conversation with my brother? Because I certainly don't on a Tuesday night." He sighed as he trembled at the height, hesitant to bring his legs around and figure a route out.

Footsteps could now be heard coming up each stair, the creaks of the floorboards making both of us fear, with no other option I pointed to the gap behind my bed. He managed in the little clothing he was now wearing to fit down there, curling up into a ball and I covered him with the rest of my blankets that built up at the end of my bed. "Do not move." I whispered to him and he abided, pulling my sheets up to my chest I covered myself and kept the lights off.

A quiet knock on my door signalled for me to remain silent, to act asleep. "Hey sis," A voice spoke through my door and the lack of response caused him to open it, letting a slit of light into my room, illuminating the clothes on my floor and me turned away, eyes closed and trying to slow my heart rate. "hope you had a good evening, sorry I got back later than I planned. Mum and dad sent me a message, they'll be home on Saturday." Inside I sighed in relief, he was none the wiser, yet just as he was about to close the door he hovered. "Oh by the way, next time introduce me to your boyfriend." My eyes went wide and I could feel my cheeks burning and the sheets near my feet shift.

At first I tried to ignore it but the lingering sense of Luke watching me from the doorway was too much. I sat upright, clinging to my sheets and moving my hair out of my face. Letting out a sigh I spoke up, "Jason."

He moved the sheets away from him and sat upright, I saw Luke now leaning against the door frame with an eyebrow raised, sending me a small smile. "Hey Jason, I'm Luke." My brother spoke up and I could feel myself dying inside, Jason seemed the complete opposite, calm and well composed.

"Nice to meet you Luke." He smiled but remained where he was.

"Don't let them know." Luke told me and I sent him a thankful smile, "If you keep it quiet I'll act none the wiser, deal?" I nodded and with that he moved away from the door. "Night love birds." A chuckle followed as he closed the door leaving the two of us in an awkward silence.

Jason got up from the hiding spot and crept towards me, "Well, at least I've met your brother now." He joked and I tilted my head, releasing a soft laugh in response.

Lifting my chin so he could look me in the eyes I softly kissed him, lifting the sheets he joined me again, holding me close. Kissing my neck I moved into him, as I closed my eyes again. "Could've been worse I guess." His warm breath brushed my neck, "I mean I'm not sure exactly how, but there must've been." I joked and relaxed in his arms.

"Wait, Y/n?" Jason's tone took a serious route and I turned around to face him, "What about breakfast?"
