"So, now you want to meet him? Some guy you just met." Sighing loudly Marissa exchanged a glance with the others who seemed confused by it all. "You know, it's not some cliche moment right?"

Stopping in my tracks I turn back and face her, "I don't know what it is, okay? But I would at least like to find out. You can come if you want to, or chose to stay here." I began to walk on without them, thinking how supportive they should've been over the reality.

Hearing my name being called I paused, hearing light pants behind me. "We're not missing this." Smiling to them we managed to get there early enough, despite being only a small area of the festival it soon filled up behind us, leaving me anxious.

Constantly checking to see if he was around I sighed, feeling as if I'd been stood up. "I'm sure he'll be here soon Y/n, no one would or should stand a girl up at a festival." Marissa placed her arm around me and side hugged me whilst I rested my head against my arms as I leant on the barrier, feeling stupid.

"I mean, what was I thinking? Little old me who he just so happened to bump in to. Damn, I loved that flower crown." Moaning I heard everyone around us begin to shout, meaning the first act would start performing. As it was one of the smaller stages in the festival it was for new acts who had yet to be well known, have a different sound.

"Welcome 5 Seconds of Summer!" Someone shouted from the stage and I lifted my head up, knowing despite being stood up I should at least enjoy myself now that I'm here.

Watching them come on stage something clicked, the lead singer came up to the microphone centre stage and suddenly I was tapping Marissas arm like there was no tomorrow. "No, that's them." Muttering under my breath I kept repeating it, unsure how else to react.

"How are you all doing today?" The lead singer yelled smiling as he observed the crowd and worked his way to the front row where me and my friends were, slightly pressed against this metal bar. I swear his smile grew as he scanned over us, and proceeded to glance backwards to the drummer who I couldn't quite see.

"Why Luke I think we have some songs to play, eh?" The one with the red hair spoke into his mic as he focused on said Luke, all while my heart was racing and refused to slow down.

Shaking my head to Marissa she looked confused, not understanding what was happening. "I can't. I don't understand what's happening." I mumbled to her as I glanced back to the singers who were talking amongst themselves and to the crowd whom made as much noise as they could.

"Hey it's okay, look you don't even know if he's a part of the band anyway. He could be with the crew.-" She turned her head and her mouth opened, eyes wide. Turning to see where she was looking on the screens either side of the stage where close ups of the musicians as they began to play, there it was, my flower crown on the top of the drummer's head as he started off the song. "Or maybe he is in the band." She yelled in my ear but it echoed as I felt like I was somewhere else entirely.

They began to perform and as it went on I found myself coming back into this reality, melting away with the music, not focusing so much on the who but instead the sound. As their first song came to a close they began to talk to the audience again, except this time the drummer was the one to speak up, "Damn guys I nearly lost my flower crown I got so into that." He joked and I felt my cheeks heating up, the tense feeling spreading through my body.

"Where'd you get such a look anyway?" The bassist asked laughing lightly as Ashton repositioned it, the screens now both showing him wearing my flower crown.

"Oh someone I bumped into." Smiling to himself I couldn't help but laugh to myself, how he literally bumped into me and now here I was, rocking his bandana whilst he performed in a flower crown. "But thing is, I do need to return it. So if the owner who I exchanged my bandana with could meet me later, backstage." All the crowd began to scream with excitement, I could hear people around me muttering about who it could be yet I remained silent, silently stunned.
