'Alright (___), you got this!' I thought, pulling on my rubber gloves as I did.

I was finally able to start on my special project that day. Captain had prohibited me from straining myself to much so I had stuck to just organising and prepping the entire month.

But to hell with that.

Pressing the play button on the large speaker that sat at my work station, I thought about what I was gonna start on first.

'I'lll start with dismantling my Sub next week but right now I have to cut out the frames and inserts. I'm gonna have to ask Penguin or Shachi to help me put everything together sometime soon'.

The speaker came to life as I walked over to my tools, where my plasma cutters and welder laid. I moved to the beat of the song as the lyrics took over my body and I started singing along.

I shook my hips as I walked over to where the metal had been laid out on the floor, getting on my knees as I came to the edge. Placing my goggles over my eyes and pulling the bandanna that laid around my neck over my mouth and nose. I started cutting away unneeded pieces of excess metal once they were in place.

I used the plasma cutters to cut the metal into the shapes I needed while the welder was used to shape it. Once that was done I crawled atop the metal piece, moving upwards towards the more rigged side.

Over my singing and the buzzing of the plasma cutters, I heard foot steps echoing across the loading dock. Knowing exactly who it was I continued on. Adjusting myself so that I was now kneeling.
