WednesdayFor a moment, I was climbing up stairs and suddenly realized how dangerous it will be if I continue. There were a group of students but they seemed busy and they didn't care about me.
The stairs, if your own eyes saw it, were falling apart and looked like one step would make it crash. And when you look down, you were already seemed like in a 30 feet high above the ground.
I was about to step down. To just go back. But when I looked behind, a gate door appeared and it was closed. It has a lock chain and I don't know where to find its key. When I turned to look where the students were, I realized that they're gone. I felt an urge of panic within me. It dawned on me, I can't go back and there's nobody to help me.
In a while, a mother with her kid used the stairs without difficulty and then disappeared. I asked myself, "How the heck did they do that?" So I tried it myself and creep into each step. I made it to the other side with luck but to my surprise, there's another locked gate door. I tried to think what's happening. And why can't I get away from that dangerous place.
I sat down, thinking of what to do next when suddenly, Kuya Jun (Kuya in our school) appeared outside the gate door. He seemed surprised seeing me there. He had the key in his pocket and showed it to me. He unlocked the gate door and ushered me to go out. I thought I already escaped from the nightmare when suddenly as soon as the people saw me, they started chasing me. And my instinct told me I needed to run.
"You cannot go anywhere", a girl said. She's almost near. But again I run and managed to distance myself. "What do you want from me?" I shouted. Then, I tried to blend in to the people in the city. I was about to get inside a vehicle yet another person recognized me. She shouted, "you must be caught!" And I don't even know why. But I answered back, "If they get me, didn't you know it will be the end?"
"Just let her be", a guy said. I looked at him. I saw him nod at me as if he understood into my eyes that I was grateful.
I fled. I reached to a place where I found a white horse like it was waiting me to ride him. I did. He helped me go away from that place.
The white horse walked as I lead him. There was one path I'm unfamiliar with so I decided for us to back and cross the other path.
I caressed his body, thinking if he's tired like me. And then I lay my head on his back. I noticed he's not hairy. We were so close that I felt like I'm safe. And I no longer feel fear because I'm with a friend. I thought to myself, he's a horse, not a wolf.
I asked him, "Are you thirsty?" I looked at him and he nodded. It seemed that he understood what I said. "Don't worry", I said. "We'll soon get rest. Remember the place we have been before? Let's go there", I assured him.
This isn't the first time we've been together. I can't remember the details and yet we'll have another journey. And I know, I will feel despair no more. Because I have my white horse.
