The Maze Runner

I decided to do laundry in the morning. My laundry basket is still full of my mom's dirty clothes and mine. I told her I don't want to go with them to the funeral of our distant relative. Before lunch time, I went to mom's shop and helped her close the shop. I thought of having ny Lenovo being reformat. I cannot decide yet where to go but that's one thing in my mind. After we closed the shop. Mom and I separate ways... I went to Yaneza's while she went home. Ate Wina asked me a favor to help Sophie and DK tie their hair. They have this presentation in church during Children's Mass every Sunday. Since they joined the Saint Anne Theater's Club, they became very active with the church's activities.

Ate Wina texted the funeral will end just right on time before her kids' presentation. She said she'll be the one to fix her kids' hair. I stayed and waited for her. Nakikain muna ako ng lunch habang pinag-iisipan ko kung saan ako pupunta. I asked EJ if we'll meet. Next week na lang daw. Wala daw siyang pera. Pero may pambili ng magic cards. -_- Hindi na lang ako nagreply sa kanya.

Then.. Alex texted using his new number: 0918661xxxx

"3 pm sa church later? ;) New number. Alex. May 3, 150 sm movie tickets ako. Nood tayo maze runner, dagdagan nlng natin n konti.. ;)"

I agreed. I'm sure babe will be there as well since she asked me yesterday if I'm free today.

Since its almost 2 PM, Ate Wina decided that Sophie and DK go with me until they reach St. Anne church where they need to practice. Ate Wina and Kuya Godi will go there before the mass starts at 3 PM. But my 3 PM mass will be in a different church. I went to the Plaza to ride a deretso Pasig jeepney. I informed EJ about me going to Victory by calling him on the phone. I told him that if there's enough time, I'll try to drop by their house.

I was late. I arrived past 3 PM. The church was full. The ushers stopped me but I told them my seat was reserved. I went to the side where we sat together the first time we attended. My seat was not aligned to them. I was seated in front of Babe's left seat. Few minutes later, the person seated on Babe's left side stood up and left. I transferred seats so I could be near them.

According to the pastor (I didn't catch his name) there's life after death. And when God comes back, we'll all be glorified. We'll be forever young. No more pain. No more hardships. No more decay.

After the mass, we went to SM Masinag to watch The Maze Runner. Babe was convinicing Alex and I to choose a different movie because she already watched it with her M.U.

We can only choose from Maria Leonara Theresa, Lupin the 3rd, Walk Through The Tombstones.

Before we watched the movie and buy  tickets since Babe was really trying her best to change our minds, we ate our dinner in Pizza Hut. Alex was.. well.. He's funny. He kept on saying some cheesy lines and doing the moves with the crews. "Maupo ka dito. Tabihan mo ko. Kulang kasi kami ng isa eh." And then, there's one time when we asked one of the crew to take our picture but he said, "Pwede ba kitang kunan ng picture? I laughed. I missed this - being with them. Lalo na yung mga kakornihan ni Alex.

Alex shared that Karla and him are okay. That they're friends. I also shared what happened when I deactivated my FB account last time EJ and I had a fight. I explained it to them because Alex was also one of the reason why EJ doesn't want to attend in Victory.

I was just taken aback when Alex shared that he could control his dreams. And that he knows when he's in the dream of his another dream. I, too have the same situation. I told him I experienced some kind of premonition or dejavu. But since I knew he snores, I asked him if he still snore while he sleeps. I told him that dreaming and snoring can't happen at the same time. There was some kind of a scientific explanation with it. I read it in a newspaper and same information was explained in Aha! hosted by Drew Arellano.

I also shared my dream about the apocalypse and the rapture and looking for EJ. That's why I really want him to join us in Victory. But I guess I needed to wait for a perfect timing. Alex told us about a movie entitled The Remaining, that was based on the Revelations in bible. I am really curious of that part of the bible, in which the apocalypse was stated. The angels were described. And they're not humanlike creatures. They looked like beasts. And as far as I know, the Earth will be burned.

Juno texted, "Nakasimba ka na??" I told him I just attended a mass in Victory. Bakit hindi ko daw siya niyaya. I didn't know na umaattend din daw din pala siya dun minsan.

Oh.. Next time.. Next time...

I am also interested with The Maze Runner so Alex and I won against Babe. But she kept on babbling that she's going to spill what's going to happen. Though, we know she's just joking.

We were late. We didn't get to see the first part. >_< Plus, we can hear people at the backseat talking to each other. We were thinking like we wanna tell them, "Why don't you go to Starbucks, drink your coffee and have your chit-chat without disturbing us, who paid to watch this movie? "

But Demie wanted to tell them, "Labas na lang kaya kayo mga ate. Kwento ko na lang sa inyo."

The movie ended fast. Or is it just me? I didn't quite enjoy it. When it ended, I wanted to ask everyone... "So.. That's it? There's going to be a part 2? At bakit 'The Maze Runner' ang title? Single lang. Eh andami-dami kaya nila. Dapat The Maze Runners."

Alex and I are both potatoes couch. We were talking about the actors/actresses from the movie we have watched. Like for example, Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters in The Fault In Our Stars also starred in Divergent as Trice and and acted as siblings. But I like Trice more than Hazel Grace. Maybe because Trice's character is stronger, prettier, and healthier than Hazel Grace. We also talked about Jennifer Lawrence. That we will always see her as Katniss Everdeen.

And Danielle Radcliffe as Harry Potter. And we know he has this upcoming movie entitled Horns. And it's just so wrong for us to see him with horns. But he has grown up.

And we will all, too.

Bubb: "Hay nako! Magkita nga tayo. Nangbubwisit lang ako. Wag ka na po mainis. :))"

Ako: "Effective. Kasi nabwisit talaga ko. Hindi na ko pwede today. Kahapon sana. Kung nagreply ka."

Bubb: "Ocge na. Isingit mo na lang ako sa busy mong sked next time. Haha Labyu!"

Ako: "I dont hate you. I just hate what you did. Stop doing that to people. Goodnight Bubb, I love you more~"
