Sunday
Mom slept in Xen's room upstairs. Kuya Godi slept on my bed. Ate Wina, Xen, the kids and I slept on the airbeds in the salas.
Mom went downstairs. It was already morning. She'll open our shop halfday before they go in our province, Zambales to pay a visit to our dead ancestors there (Mom's relatives). To do that, she needed to pass through us so she could go out. And since, we were blocking the door, she woke us up. I rose and transferred on the green long chair. After an hour, I felt my body hardened. The chair felt hard. I decided to transfer and continue my sleep in my room. On my own bed. Kuya Godi wasn't there anymore. I only found Sophie who I bet transferred earlier. Ate Wina, DK and Xen stayed at the salas, sleeping on one of the airbeds. The airbed Sophie and I were sleeping on was removed to make a space for someone who needs to go in and out our house.
I fell asleep and woke up past 10 AM. They were already up since they need to prepare their things for Zambales trip later. Xen and Ate Wina said they will be out to buy balut for pasalubong in the province. They left me with Sophie and DK. We played UNO cards until I finished eating my Yakisoba for breakfast and ended up taking another tablet of Neozep since my colds did not cease. I continuously sneeze even after that.
The phone rang. I decided to take a bath because DK answered it and told her Lola (my mom) that we'll go there in the shop. I wonder if I really needed to. Ate Wina said if I'll go to the shop, just bring along the kids. She said I need to go to the church's office to get the payment for the newspaper this week. I felt lazy moving around when finally, Xen and Ate Wina arrived. I just finished cooking rice and was about to leave. Since they're here, I had the freedom to go to the shop alone.
There were buyers when I arrived so I decided to go Elmer's shop for my Sun Load. I needed to register again to have this month's subscription. I loaded php200 and hurriedly registered. The women, who were the shop owners asked me questions while I wait for my change with my 1000 peso bill.
Shopowner1: "Tapos ka na ba?"
Me: "Yes po."
Shopowner1: "Anong natapos mo?"
Instead of explaining the course and my bachelor's degree, I answered,
Me: "Teaching."
Shopowner 1: "Anong tinuturuan mo?"
Shopowner2: "High school ba tinuturuan mo?"
Me: "Grade school po tinuturuan ko."
Shopowner1: "Hindi ka kasi mukhang teacher."
Shopowner2: "Mukha ka lang ano eh.. Estudyante din."
Me: "Mukha pong highschool?"
Shopowner2: "Mukha ka lang grade 6!"
Shopowner1: "Buti hindi ka nililigawan ng mga estudyante mo?"
Shopowner 2: "Oo nga! Baka nga nililigawan siya ng mga estudyante niya."
I smiled at them. Got my change and left. I went back to my mom's shop.
Oh. Should I feel depress?
MY NAME IS APRIL. I AM 23 YEAR OLD SOUL. TRAP IN A LITTLE GIRL'S BODY. NICE TO MEET YOU.
I went to the church's office. Mission accomplished. I helped mom closed the shop. Kuya Godi dropped by and gave me his 'Inferno' book. He returned and waited for us at the church's parking lot so we got home with Alexa (his Innova car).
