Friday

It's almost 9 in the morning when mom woke me up. I know I was dreaming but I can no longer remember what was it about. I just know that mom already tried to wake me up earlier. I only woke up and got out of my bed when I saw her wrapped in a towel indicating that she's done taking a bath. She said we'll go to church, expressing that she would like to go to Padre Pio Church but having second thoughts since we're not aware of the mass schedule. She was trying to convince me to get out of bed by saying: "Let's all go to church together. It's very rare that we're complete." Then, "We'll go to Seibu afterwards." And, "We might watch 'Honor Thy Father'.

I felt pain in my tummy. I have fuller breasts and I was expecting it already. I was just a few days delayed. I had my last period last November 26 (first day) so it's just a little weird to have it in the very first day of the year.

I went to refill the electric kettle with water and went to the restroom while it boils. I checked my Iphone and logged in to Facebook and checked my messages into my Cherry phone. Most were replies from my greetings:

From Cherry:

"Happy New Year Kumag. Madami pa tayo gagawin together. Another days. Another chances. Keep safe." - Elton Geronimo

"Lilipas na naman ang taon na hindi ko pa nakikitang tunay na maunlad ang bayan natin... Nevertheless, Manigong Bagong Taon! Ms.   Borja. :D Hindi ako pessimist. Random thought lang. Haha." - Robert Valera

"Bacon pancakes. Making bacon pancakes. Mix some bacon and put it in some pancakes. - Jake, Adventure Time

Happy New Year April!!" - MJ Castro

"Happy New Year Bubb~" - Lovely Grana

"Yay! Thanks Ate Prul. Miss you :* Happy New Year!" - Daniella Torino

"Thanks AJ! Happy New Year te. :)" - Cristin Amores

From Iphone's Messenger:

- A happy new year icon from Risa Loria

- "Happy new year cher apsssss!" -  Kristin Arianne Reyes

- Mary Joy Cornico: "Happy New Year"
Me: "Likewise. Happy New Year sis."

I charged my phone and took a bath.

New Year. I realized I don't have anything new to wear. I have this Uniqlo branded yellow tshirt from Jeeogn last Christmas but I don't think it's appropriate for the occassion. And so I think I should wear either a Sunday best dress or the best casual wear I have in my closet. I chose to wear something I usually don't wear. A dress. In which I had worn the day I bought it. It was because I needed to attend EJ's Oath Taking at Cuneta Astrodome with his mom. And according to the tickets, a guest aren't allowed to go inside the venue if wearing jeans which I was wearing that time. So we dropped by at the Farmer's Plaza and hurriedly looked to buy an appropriate attire. Today will be my second time wearing it because honestly, I don't have a good shoes to pair it with. My converse was kinda good but not quite so I ended up wearing my black flats. And when mom saw me, she commented, "Blue is the lucky color this year." Yeah right. The dress is aquamarine. Well, nothing to worry because I have a blue cardigan to the rescue. 😀

After my struggle on what to wear, I ate spaghetti for breakfast. I texted my sister Wina that we'll be attending 10:30 AM mass at Santuario De San Antonio church at Forbes Park. We saw them during the Communion Rites. With Sophia wearing Yaya Dub's red dress.

After the mass, we stayed at the bench near the restroom. I was sitting with the kids except Sophia who later sat with us. They decided to take a picture of us kids (I'm still a kid - at heart). And I wonder to myself, when do I start NOT looking like a kid?
