"It's easy to look at people and make quick judgements about them. Their present and their past. But you'd be amazed at the pain and tears a single smile hides. What the person shows to the world is only one tiny facet of the iceberg hidden from sight. And more often than not, it's lined with cracks and scars that go all the way to the foundation of their soul. Never judge, learn to respect and acknowledge the feelings of others." - Unknown

My alarm woke me at 5 AM. But since I'm accustomed to wake up later than that, I continued my sleep until I woke up again around 5:30. I received a text message from Donna. "Good morning! :-)"
I decided not to reply until I left home. I headed to our meeting place earlier than the time agreement. I bought Mcchicken sandwich in the opposite side for our breakfast later. Then I headed back inside Jollibee to wait for Donna. I saw T. Jane and few minutes later, T. Maya arrived. I told them I'll be going with T. Orlan. T. Jane decided to go and leave with T. Maya since according to her, we won't all fit in a taxi. I felt guilty. I defended myself that I just had a short notice last night. Before they left, they were talking something about an issue T. Maya was involved in. She didn't talk about it in front of me. Of course. She doesn't want me to hear it.
I was left alone and Donna was not replying with my text messages. I was a little paranoid because I actually don't know the others who I am waiting for. Donna mentioned T. Orlan and T. Jeff but they were also nowhere in sight. And yes. The truth is...
I hate waiting.
Donna arrived long after T. Jane and T. Maya left. We waited for T. Orlan outside Jollibee. He ushered us back inside to wait for T. Jeff, lecturing us that when we are waiting for someone, wait inside. Because you can't trust people in public places. He shared us his own bad experiences for proof. And according to him, some people study how to do mental telepathy, (I think he used the wrong term, it should be mind control) when you give your things yourself to them and everything's all gone before you knew it.
Well in Vampire Diaries, it's called sire or compel.
When T. Jeff arrived, T. Orlan whispered to me, "Ay! Papakilala kita dyan kay T. Jeff. Wala pang girlfriend yan. Napakatalino niyan." I only smiled at him. T. Jeff shook hands with T. Donna while I just waved my hand at him saying hi. And we left Jollibee to ride MRT then taxi from Quezon Avenue Station to UP Bahay ng Alumni. We realized T. Orlan looks like the actor Michael De Mesa because of the taxi driver.
English majors gathered. The reason why I'm here because T. Jessa was not able to make it. T. Orlan and T. Jeff are from High School Department. The rest of us are from Grade School. T. Andie, T. Artie, T. Sheila and T. Larraine are also present. Everyone dressed in smart casual except me, Donna and Artie.
Everybody asked about what happen with T. Maya. That's why she was left with no choice but to tell us what happened. She said T. Symone was late and she extended for 30 minutes resulting to giving up her tutorials that day. And it was nothing personal to her. She just wants some professionalism because according to her that wasn't the first time it happened.
The convention started past 9AM. The audience is countable. Many were not able to attend due to the bad weather condition.
With some freebies, chit-chat with my co-teachers, I tried to be present physically and mentally with everyone there. Besides, T. Sheila said, "Hi April!", which was very unexpected. And with this little effort... I decided to forget everything bad she's done when I was still in Diego. Forgive and forget. All is well.
I had taken down notes. Here.

My most favorite speaker is Sir Wendell Capili. Aside from his topic which I was really able to relate myself.. He's also inspiring that I want to enroll in his class someday. I want to be like him. Inspiring.
I was seated in the middle of Donna and Andie. And sometimes, both were talking to me at the same time. You know Andie is very talkative.
I don't have the luck today. I didn't get the chance to win the extra prizes. Donna and Artie got Ms. Valerie's CD while Andie got a gift pack from Faber Castell.

I think it's done past 5PM. I didn't go with Andie at Market-Market (I know she must be disappointed because I told her earlier that I am willing to go) because I really feel tired. I agreed to ride a bus instead of MRT with T. Donna and T. Jane.
Since EJ and I cancelled our date today, we agreed to just meet in North Avenue Station to go to Trinoma (for a change since we've always been to Megamall) at 1PM tomorrow.
I fell asleep as soon as I'm done eating my dinner.
