Thursday

I was thinking of the dance we have to present on the upcoming Teacher's Night. Because it's so complicated for T. Elsha and I to join the new teachers' practice in Diego Branch.

I went to our veranda. It was really dark. But the sky were full of stars. I looked at them in awe. I laid my body on the foam near me and I waited for a falling star.

Few minutes later, I felt something on my body. I found leeches scattered. Leeches are bloodsucking annalid worms. I hardly removed them one by one, fearing that they would drain my blood.

In the river, was a boat with a man. My sister Wina suddenly came out and gestured at him. I was confused. But I saw a bird freed by the man and it flew towards us. I caught it in my hands and noticed how beautiful it was but realized it looked very different from the other birds. And then, my sister told me it's an angel. And again, I was confused and realized that my scars that the leeches made were gone. And then, I freed the bird again. We decided to write a note about it. I didn't understand where we meant to send it but I just helped her tie it in a balloon. When we let go the balloon, it didn't go far. A man with wings suddenly appeared in front of us and took the balloon with him. I asked myself, "What the heck is going on?"

Obviously, I had a dream. Mom woke me up before sunrise. She's telling me the message I need to send thru text to my uncle about the funeral of our distant relative. I just nod and went back to sleep. She'll write the message anyway and will leave it on my bed.

I don't know how it started. Suddenly, there was this handsome guy who was teaching me the steps of the dance for the Teacher's night. Weird thing I realized, it wasn't T. Darius. We went somewhere and then I saw EJ and some other guys. It seemed that they're members of a band. There were drums and guitars, like they're going to have a tugtugan session. Suddenly, since I am no musician nor a singer. I decided to just watch them and climbed up a very high stack of chairs. I haven't noticed that the stack of chairs were not balanced. The chairs fell down, and me along with them. To my surprise, I didn't hit the floor. The guy (who I described as 'handsome') caught me. Oh pakingteyp. Why you? Where's EJ? -_- I looked and slightly smiled at him. I said, "thank you" and he smiled back. Pakingteyp again. When he let me go, everybody gathered one by one. Giselle Sta. Maria showed up. I was about to leave but the guys pulled me as well as Giselle. I was telling them, "Si Giselle na lang... Magaling yang kumanta."  They ignored me and pulled me together with Giselle. Oh no. Don't ever make me sing in front of many people or else.. Or else... Grr.. There will be a riot! Why is EJ ignoring me anyway?

Next thing I knew.. they finished performing a song. I saw EJ doing a break dance, but did one bad move. He was embarrassed about it and left. I looked at the audience. They were disappointed. I wasn't aware what's really going on...

I noticed a girl student standing not very far from me, she's wearing a school uniform but not from IMC. She was with Jhiyan, and I was confused why. It looked like the girl was asking Jhiyan something. I can't tell which school she's from. Jhiyan was hesitant and looked at me. She pointed at me and handed me a paper. There were scribbles. At the bottom, there was something written 'EJ's girlfriend' but was crossed out. I asked both of them, "What's going on? What is this about?" Jhiyan shook her head and left. The girl stayed and asked me about my Wattpad's account username. She's asking me to write it on her paper. "How did you know about it?", I asked her. "Because I have read something about why the Tagalog of Sunday is Linggo instead of Araw-araw", she answered. "Huh? Wait. I have never included that yet in my entries of my diary. I'm sorry but I don't want to give you any kind of information about it." As if it's difficult to find out.
