I couldn't forget how my parent's love story was. Damn! It was as if the whole world was against their relationship but they fight for their love. And somehow, it seems like my love story is similar with them.

When dad decided to go to bed, and so do I. And as I lay on my bed, the what if's popped in my head. What if dad didn't showed up and only mommy and Tito Rixon is on the picture, what will happen? What if mom's and dad's relationship have been approved by my grandparents, will they suffer no more? It could be a happily ever after for them then and might be for me also.

The day after tomorrow na ang Christmas day and still I dont have gifts to give for my loved ones kaya heto ako at nagsha-shopping ng pwedeng ibigay. Gaad! Theyre many just for me to be alone to pick some things to give. Wala akong maisip para sa kanilang lahat.

"Stuck in a havoc?"

I snapped my head to the direction where the voice came from. It was Jigs.

"Uh.. mm-hm," I mumble as I slowly nod.

"Ano ba ang sadya mo dito sa department store?"

"Looking for gifts," I simply retorted, busy on looking at the materials in front of me.

His brow perked up at my answer.

"For whom?"

"For everybody, I guess?" I said skeptically. "Except you."

"Bakit naman?"

"You're here with me. Edi malalaman mo so I’ll mark you X on my list. Sorry." And showed a wicked smile.

"Aalis nalang ako kung ganon.."

I immediately hold his elbow to stop him from turning around from me.

"Wait. Samahan mo muna ako. I need your help lalo na puro kayong lalaki," pagpapa-awa ko.

"So may gift pa rin ako?"

"Depende kung sasamahan mo 'ko." I grinned.

"Evil witch.." he whisper beneath his breath.

"Hey! I heard that. Im not that wicked like duh! Ang bait ko kaya.."

"Whatever!" and he cracked in laughters kaya sinamaan ko nalang ng tingin at naki-tawa.

Wala naman siyang magawa dahil blinackmail ko siya. Hahaha. I know how to play cards, boy. Not literal, though. Haha!

Kung anong sina-suggest niya ay iyon naman ang binibili ko. Siya na rin ang taga-dala ko. O diba, instant yaya!

Sa sobrang pagod sa kakalibot ng mall para sa pwedeng iregalo ay sobrang nagutom rin kami kaya inalok ko na siyang kumain. While waiting for our order, nagsimula na naman siyang mang-asar. Katangian na talaga nito ang mapang-asar eh.

May joke siyang sinabi sakin pero binara ko lang at inirapan. Di na ako madadala sa mga panis na niyang jokes. Hahaha!

As I just turned my head to my side, a two figure catches my attention. The glass wall made me able to see them. Im not certain about how I feel right now. I can't name it. Just something prick where it's really my weakest point.

"Katriel.." Jigs called my name but I didn't move an inch.

"I wanted to be selfish but I can't." I finally uttered after a few minutes of silence, still looking where Reniel and Camilla was.

"Kat.."

"Jigs, gustong-gusto ko siyang ipagdamot. Gustong-gusto ko na akin lang siya. Pero naging kaibigan na rin niya si Camilla eh. What can I do?" maluha-luha kong utas.
