Seconds, minutes, hours, days and months had gone. It passed unknowingly. Things are fine now. My school life is fine now. I got a friend and Alana alone is fine as my friend. Everything's perfect except one. My emotions. I'm still emotionally unstable. I'm still vulnerable. I'm still longing for him. But he's far, far away from me. He's already unreachable. He's already a star. And I'm a simple human living in a simple life.

After school hours, I'd rather stay in my room, finish my homeworks and face my laptop. Getting some updates about what's happening to their lives. Bihira nalang maka-chat sina Hazel dahil nga sa hinding magkasundong oras at sa busy na din dahil sa pag-aaral. Hindi ko alam kung pumapasok pa ba ang Summer Wind gayong mabilis ang pag-sikat nila sa kanilang career. Or baka home schooling nalang ang ginagawa nila or maaari ring pinabayaan na nila iyon.

Brayden had gone to work. Ilang buwan na iyon. Puspusan ngayon ang ensayo niya dahil may bago siyang album na ila-launch at magkakaroon ng world tour.

He texted me from time to time but he rarely come to visit. And it's fine. I understand his situation. What so important anyway for us to meet or just communicate. Nothing special in between us. But my family is insisting that there were something going on between us. Pero tinatanggi ko iyon.

"Oh! Hey, Beatrix!" bati ko sa kaibigan ng makababa ako para makapasok na. "Looking for my brother?"

I don't know if they're dating or they're just going out (but that's the same thing, though) or they're just friends. Pero madalas silang lumabas.

Agad namang nagpakita si Kuya.

"Mauna na kami, Anna." paalam ni Kuya sabay halik sa aking pisngi.

Ganon din ang ginawa ni Beatrix. I also said my good bye to them.

Pumasok bigla ang idea tungkol kay Jenni. What happened to them? Kuya seemed fine during our first days here. He was like he's not affected of our sudden migration. Or baka hindi ko lang pansin ang paghihinagpis niya dahil busy ako sa sarili kong hinagpis. Hindi naman kasi kami masyadong nagkaka-usap dahil lagi akong nasa kwarto at ang alam ko'y lagi siyang nasa mini gym. Maybe it's his way to cope up or maybe there's nothing to cope up?

Sinalubong kaagad ako ni Alana pagkarating ko ng school. Sa una lang pala hindi sila namamansin. Of course, I'm just new here and they knew each other since freshman year. Its just me they don't because I'm a transferee. I can go with the trip of everyone but only if its okay to me. But then, only Alana I am considering as a close friend.

"Are you done with your homeworks?" she asked when we started to walk going to canteen for lunch.

"Yep. Why? Wanna borrow them?"

"Can I? Hehe." Nahihiya pa.

Binigay ko ang mga iyon ng makabili na kami at makahanap ng table. Ginawa niya ang mga homeworks namin habang kumakain. Doing multitasking. Ano naman kaya ang ginawa nito kahapon at di nagawa ang homeworks namin.

"Are you free tonight?" Alana asked.

"Uh, maybe? Why?"

"Our school is competing for American football. Want to watch?" anyaya niya.

"Who's going?"

"Definitely our school. It's the school's football team playing. Hope they'll win."

"Surely they will."

Bumalik kami sa room namin ng tumunog na ang bell, hudyat iyon na simula na para sa sunod na klase. May assignment siyang hindi natapos.

My state is now divided into two. My half is listening to the teacher and the other is looking outside of the window. The autumn season is almost over. The leaves turned into reddish brown and they flew with the wind then fall unto the ground eventually.
