Kai

Dad dropped me off at school today and now I'm just walking down the hallway myself since Austin wants to get sick. Ughh idiot, he better be there for my fight. I hear running behind me then someone suddenly jumps on my back, which I instantly know its Dragonfly so I hold her up.

"Just you and me today dork!" she chuckles and ruffles my hair. Most guys would be upset over that, but honestly I couldn't care less about what she did to my hair, I mean it's messy anyway. Why is she so happy anyway?

"Are we still having lunch together today?" I ask pretty dully. "Sorry if I sound like I'm trying to get rid of you, I'm just bloody exhausted" I make sure she knows because if I didn't tell she would take it like that and then be like oh we don't have to if you don't wanna.

"Haha it's fine and yea! Just cause Austin isn't here doesn't mean we still can't have some fun without him" she puts her head on my shoulder. I turn my head slightly enough to see her smirking. She sees me looking at her then she takes her head off my shoulder because we're both thinking the same thing. I adjust my grip on her so she isn't falling down then I run down the hallway with her leaving laughs. Her hand is now on my chest in which my heart is beating out off... why is it doing that? It's annoying heart, stop!

I see the principal doing her daily walk down the hall so I instantly stop running and stand in front of a locker with Dragonfly still on my back. She gives us an awe look as she passes by us. "Close one" Dragonfly says in relief.

"You know, you've been becoming a little rebel lately eh? Looks like you had an overdose of Kai and Austin" I chuckle and she hits my shoulder while laughing along. But it's true, she has, I mean she use to be the sweet quiet girl of the school and now that she's been with Austin and I she started speaking up more... I like it.

"I guess, I mean you boys did teach me to not be a push over, so I'm done being one for the whole school" she unwraps her legs and I gently drop her. She stands in front of me and shrugs. Glad we could teach her something useful.

"Good. Hey I'm gonna use the bathroom real fast" I say and she nods then leans against the lockers. I walk into a stall and I mean you know the rest right? Well anyways after that I wash my hands then walk back out into the hallway to see some guy talking to Dragonfly who looks uncomfortable as hell. I walk up a bit closer so I can hear what he's saying to her.

"You're such a bitch! Especially you're a slut, hanging out with the two most attractive dangerous boys even though you know you don't have a chance" the guy gets closer to her face, "you changed Anna. Now you think you can be this badass with those boys by your side"

That's it. I run up and yank him off her then pin him to the lockers. "Do NOT call her a bitch and especially do NOT call her a slut!" I growl. His eyes widen and he shakes. "NOBODY calls her a bitch or a slut" I pin him harder and he winches in pain.

"K-Kai Archer" he gulps hard. "I'm s-sorry Anna" he apologizes and I punch his face before throwing him at the lockers in front of us. He groans then immediately runs off while holding his cheek.

"You didn't need to do that" Dragonfly says and I turn around to her avoiding eye contact with me. I didn't need to do that? So I was suppose to sit around and watch him bully her?

"Yes I did. I uh... I saw myself when he did that and I was not gonna let him push you around like you're some kind of... I don't know but I wasn't" when I say that she slightly chuckles "Plus nobody calls you a bitch but Austin"
