Months passed. Josh's end of the school year awards day is today so Dragonfly and I are going to watch him. Dragonfly also graduates tomorrow. Time's flying by really fast and my birthdays already tomorrow.

"Ready?" Dragonfly holds my hand and i smile with a nod. We get in the car then drive off to Josh's school and sit down in the gym where the ceremony's being held. His face lights up immediately once he sees us, making us smile and wave to him like parents watching their son. "He's so excited aww" Dragonfly clutches her heart.

I chuckle and wrap my arm around her. "He's something!" I kiss her temple and she takes a picture of him then double taps the screen so it's now facing us. She smiles wide and I cheekily smile. She posts it on her story and puts her phone down. "You're really beautiful"

"Thank you!" she kisses my cheek. "You don't look too bad yourself handsome" she winks and I playfully roll my eyes. The principal taps on the microphone to test if it working, which it is so he begins talking. He says all about how proud he is of these little third graders and how they're gonna be able to give a speech for the hell of it... well he didn't say for the hell of it, but it was implied.

Many speeches later, it's now Josh's turn so he nervously holds onto the microphone and looks at Dragonfly and who are giving him an encouraging smile. "Hi!" he starts and I smile. "I really wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my big sister Anna, she helps me with my homework and makes sure I understand everything before leaving me off on my own" he pauses "And my best friend Kai!" he excitedly says and my smile turns into confusion.

"Aw babe!" Dragonfly rubs my back then interwinds our fingers together and rests her head on my arm. Why would he be talking about me? I've been nothing but a bad influence to his innocent self.

"He taught me about adventure, which is what encouraged me to join the soccer team this year!!" he shouts and my jaw drops. I stand up and smile so widely at him. All over his walls in his room is soccer everywhere so I told him he should try out, but he declined saying he's scared. So hearing this makes me so fucking happy that I could help him pursue his dreams. "Thank you Kai and Anna" he smiles then walks back to his seat.

I sit down with the smile still displayed on my face. "He really loves you Kai" Dragonfly looks at me with a small smile. "He asks me everyday when you're gonna come over to see him and play soccer with him. He tells me how much he looks up to you and wants to be as strong and brave as you are" she says and I look at Josh.

He's looking back at me with a smile. I never felt this kind of love before... I know he's just Dragonflys little brother, but he's fucking amazing. He gets rewarded with attendance, A honor roll, and athleticism. Those were the big three, he got others too. His class is now going back to the classroom so Dragonfly and I follow them.

We make it to his classroom and he hugs me so tight at the legs. "You came!!" he jumps up and down. I kneel down and ruffle his hair, making him laugh then hugs me. "Thank you for inspiring me to make the team" he mumbles and I pat his hack. He hugs so me tight that I loose my balance and fall on my ass, causing Dragonfly and him laugh.

"Anyway" I look at Josh. "Good job out there today kid, I'm so fucking happy you made the team" I smile while I get back on my knee. He smiles so wide, showing his bottom tooth that's gonna fall out pretty soon. His face lights up and he smirks at something behind me. I slightly tilt my head then turn around to see his teacher. "Whoa" I whistle and Dragonfly glares at me. "Kidding! She's Josh's" I wink and she rolls her eyes. We laugh and I turn my back towards Josh so he can jump on it. "Let's go" I hold onto his legs.
