"Come on! You haven't left the house in days Kai!" I pull his arm and he shakes his head. "Fine" I drop his arm. "I'm going without you then. JOSH!" I shout up the stairs and Josh comes running downstairs. Kai groans then stands up and walks into the living room where he left his keys.

I walk upstairs then pick up Kaitlyn and jog back down the stairs. We walk out the house and I notice how hard Kai's clutching on his black keys to his new car. Why is he so damn stubborn? He never talks, he's never home, he even faces away from me at night. I get he's grieving, but so am I and I really need my boyfriend right now.

The car ride was silent, all it consisted was of Josh talking to me and Kaitlyn. Kai kept his hands gripped to the steering wheel as if he's nervous somethings gonna happen again. I want my Kai back and so does Elena... her parents died in a car crash while she was in the backseat, so imagine how could it must have been to figure out your son was in one. He won't even talk to her... or Austin... any of us.

We pull into the grocery store and I take out the baby carrier that goes on your chest. I don't think I need this. When we get out the car, I hand Kai the baby carrier and he looks at me like I'm crazy. "Come on, I'm gonna be running around a lot to aisle to aisle so I can get this over with" I beg and he groans loudly.

I help him put the baby carrier on his huge chest so it had to be adjusted a bit. He flinches a bit when I carefully put Kaitlyn in it. You can help his heart's beating fast due to how fast his chest's moving up and down. Josh runs up to us and begs for one of us to hold his hand when we cross the road. Kai has enough to deal with. I take Josh's hand and we all cross the street then into the store.

"Ok" I tap my pen on my chin as I think then look at the list. "Diapers, I'll get them! Josh stay here" I run off to the diaper aisle and get the brand Kaitlyn uses. When I jog back over to where I left Kai, they're not there. Couldn't have gone toooo far right? Well, Kai is a fast walker. As I groan, I look down the aisles as I pass by then I spot them.

Kai's kneeled down at Josh's height with his hand on Kaitlyn and the other pointing to different kinds of ice creams as Josh judges. My heart... he's so good with kids even though he says he doesn't like them... would this be the view I would've gotten everyday with our baby?

Kai grabs the ice cream on a high shelf then hands it to Josh whose jumping up and down excitedly. After he does, he holds Josh's hand and starts walking my way until he sees me standing there with diapers and eyes holding in tears. I never realized how much I missed him talking to his baby, kissing his baby, planning his future... more importantly, I hate not being pregnant. When she was inside me, I felt like I had someone with me and I never felt alone. The tears escape my eyes and I hold my hand over my mouth. Kai drops Josh's hand then jogs over to me and hugs me as best as he could with Kaitlyn on him.

"I miss her" I mumble into his chest and he rubs my back. This is most love I've gotten from Kai since the surgery. He's so precious, but once something happens in his life, he'll shut himself down or if you did something to him, he'd never talk to you again so you just lost the most amazing thing in your life. "I miss her so damn much"

He pulls out of the hug and passionately kisses me. "At least she's out of this dangerous world" he places his forehead on mine and I slightly nod in agreement. "I miss her too Dragonfly" his voice so raspy and husky. I haven't heard him talk in days... and now that I have, he sounds so lost and broken.

"Do you want... other one?" I hesitantly ask. If he did, obviously it wouldn't be now, it'll be a long time. But I miss the idea of being parents and that's all I can remember, being pregnant. He sighs and hugs me once again as he tries to form words. "Sorry if it's a touchy subj-"
