Qing's mother was watching the TV, waiting for Qing's 'All You Can Eat (Around the World)' show, about to start in a few minutes.
Qing had been in Taiwan for the filming of the show since two days ago and will be home tomorrow.
Both exchange frequent phone calls, mainly to talk about Dayu. Qing's mother who insisted Dayu called her everyday, updated Qing, on the very same day.
It had been one and a half month since Dayu went with his cast mates, on their promotional tour of their film Wick Chapter 3; Retribution.
And they had wrapped up the last stop of the tour which was London, United Kingdom, this afternoon.
By now, is probably at the airport waiting to board the 5am flight back to Tianjin from London Airport.
Then her phone rang. She picked it up and saw an unknown number displayed on the screen.
The call is from a landline in UK, but Dayu rarely used landline though. He used different simcards to call them back home in each of the country he went in the promotional tour.
She picked the call, frowning, "hello. Feng's Residence? May I talk to Feng JianYu's mother please?" The person on the other side is speaking in Chinese a little too formally.
Dayu's mother continued to frown as she felt the unsettling feelings growing in her heart.
"Yes, this is her speaking."
"I am very sorry to bother you Ma'am, but there is something I need to tell you..Hello..Ma'am? Hello??"
Qing's mother had dropped the mobile phone to the floor, as her eyes fixated on the TV screen; where a breakthrough urgent news was being broadcasted.
'China's Sweetheart, Feng JianYu, was involved in an accident, around 2am this morning, when he's on the way to the airport. He had been taken to the Royal London Hospital.'
