Wang Manor

(Qing's POV)

Dayu looked at me, with his eyes so huge, it rivaled the full moon. He looked more petrified than just merely shocked.

Well, I can't blame him because I myself hadn't thought that I'd be proposing to him while laying on the bed.

This was not how I had pictured my proposal would be.

Two years ago, when I was preparing myself to propose, I had planned the proposal to be as romantic as possible. With flowers, with songs, with a ring and I would be on bended knees. And I pictured Dayu to be so overwhelmed with happiness that he wouldn't be able to say no.

I know that I did give him a 10 year old, promise to wait. But I wasn't about to really wait ten years. That's just too long. I planned on giving him only two years. After all, even after we've become official, it's not as if he couldn't work anymore. I am more than capable of finding and funding projects for him, and for me; for us both.

But, that was when I thought I had all the time in the world. At that time, I thought, I could plan everything to perfection. I thought that everything would go according to my plan. I never thought that none of the proposal plans would be carried out.

I never imagined that a month after that, I did the one thing I said that vowed I'd never do. I hurt Dayu. And he left me, broken hearted.

When Dayu came back, I knew that I had a tall order, in winning him back. I knew that Dayu was still hurting so much, I knew that he had not forgiven me, not even a little. And I also know that despite his hurt, despite of my betrayal; Dayu loves me still.

But even he didn't. Even if all Dayu felt for me is hatred. I wasn't about to give up. I had made up my mind, I was determined, that no matter what, no matter how hard, I would win Dayu's heart back.

I will do anything, everything, for as long as it takes. I had been willing to wait. I was willing to work hard. To have my rain back.

And then, the accident happened. And it took away his memory; the one thing that I need to defeat in order to make Dayu mine again.
