(Madam Wang's POV)
"My son had fallen in love."
There's an eerie silence around the dinner table then. As my husband, my daughter and her husband looked at me, as if I had lost my mind.
Two things;
I had referred to Qing as my son, and;
I told them that Qing had fallen in love.
Both things, normally, would not have happen.
We all knew that the one, I referred to as my son had been giving us nothing but pain and heartache for the past ten years and more.

My second born, my only son. Born 4 years after my daughter, Wang Mei. Wang Mei quickly became my husband's favourite.
And when my son was born, he became the apple of my eyes. I named him Wang Qing; because he's the light of my eyes. He would shine brightly like clear sun.
For a short period of times, he really did, until he began schooling and then, everything began to go awfully wrong.
I knew, that he was bullied in schools. And that was why I was so protective of him. I tried to give him everything that he wanted.
